Draper Smiles is most certainly, without a doubt the BEST professional dental practice in all the land! I worked Full-time for 6 years as Dr.Pessoa’s only Hygienist and I had the privilege of working chair side with him on many occasions. I’ve been in practice for over 15 years now and I can tell you first hand what a talented dentist he is! I quit 3 jobs in 2 months when I first moved to Utah. Finding Dr.P was literally an answer to prayer. I’ve seen this office through a lot and believe me when I say he will settle for nothing but the best for his patients. Besides having amazing hands, he’s very intelligent and innovative and works non-stop to educate himself so he can deliver what he thinks his patients deserve. He is honest and good. I’ve watched him cry with his patients after their long awaited smile transformations come to completion. As his sole hygienist, he made sure I was equipped to take care of his patients by educating and guiding them. He pushed me to be better so we could properly diagnose and truly help our patients. There is not a person that I love that has not been referred here! If you are a patient here, you are well loved and respected! You will not find better!

I have been going to this office since 2012 and I have had fantastic service every time. Dr. Pessoa and his staff are perfectionists and it really shows in all the work that they have done. When I first went to the clinic, it had been a few years since I had seen a dentist. Needless to say I had a substantial amount of build up on my teeth. Tina really took the extra time to give me a very thorough cleaning, even though I am sure that took me far over the time spot I was booked for.
Dr. Pessoa will never tell you, you need work that you don't need. He is genuinely looking out for my health and not trying to line his pockets with unnecessary procedures.
I was getting married and for a wedding gift, Dr. Pessoa gave me a $35 Target gift card for my wedding. I was blown away, I never would have expected anything like that, let alone for that amount. Seriously, talk about shattering any high expectations I already had of this office.
My insurance company is not in network with Dr. Pessoa, but that does not matter to me. I have no problem paying a bit more to have the privilege of being a patient at this office.
I have to mention the staff as well. Jo at the front is incredibly friendly and took great care of my 3 year old daughter while I was in the back getting cleaned. Tracy is phenomenal, and has gone to bat for me when my insurance was giving me trouble. I can tell you for that alone Dr. Pessoa has a patient in me and my family for life.

Dr. Pessoa is the best dentist I’ve had the pleasure of working with. My case wasn’t easy, and I very much appreciate all of his meticulous hard work and artistry; he is a perfectionist and went above and beyond what I expected. From the first visit, I felt comfortable and never once felt shamed for the state of my teeth, something that had happened with previous dentists.
The entire staff is wonderful to work with, always friendly and caring. A special thanks to Sonia for her kindness, conversation, and great insight.
I love my new smile, and it’s so nice to laugh out loud again without feeling like I need to cover my mouth. A big thanks to Dr. Pessoa and those who work with him. You all are amazing and highly recommended!

Dr. Pessoa and his team fit me in to a busy schedule to take care of a problem tooth and every aspect of treatment was above and beyond what I’ve experienced elsewhere - and I have had a lot of good dentists. Dr. Pessoa is phenomenal! I've had extensive dental work in the past with a continuous history of crowns breaking and popping off. Dr. Pessoa took the time to ask me many questions to ensure that he understood all my concerns, what might have caused past problems, what my "smile" goals were and what was in-bounds/out-of-bounds in terms of treatment. Due to work, I have relocated many times resulting in my cycling through MANY dentists. This was my BEST experience of all and I would highly recommend visiting Dr. Pessoa! He was very kind, patient and totally focused on me and wanting to make to make sure that he delivered the service and results I was seeking. And, his staff... particularly Sonia and Blair who I've interacted with a lot are great!!

We recently moved to Utah and finding a dentist was the last thing on our minds. However, when my wife broke her tooth during the Christmas holidays it suddenly became the priority. Draper Smiles (along with others) was highly recommended. Of course we did our online research, called everyone who had been recommended, and called a few dentist just because it was an emergency and they were in our Dental Plan. Dr Pessoa was the ONLY dentist that called us back. My wife's broken molar was fixed without trouble and her office visit experience was amazing.
A couple of weeks later, I took my teens in for a check-up and a cleaning. They had a wonderful experience. The staff even managed to fit my upcoming appointment in while my family was there so I didn't have to come back.
No more need for research. We have found our new dentist.

Invisalign straightened my teeth, Dr Pessoa made them look great afterward. The bonding and cosmetic work is what makes all the difference. Seriously I am amazed at what he was able to do. And I can still use whitening. The staff and receptionist are all very friendly, next-level service here!

I love this dentist office! The doc is very professional and takes pride in his work. I had a previous dentist that used cheap materials and my fillings and crowns would break after a year.. Until I started seeing Draper Smiles! He takes good care and makes sure its fine right there 1st time! The staff is always great and will do everything they can to get you the appt that is most convenient. The dental hygienist is amazing. All of the staff takes the time to get to know you and make you feel comfortable. I love this place, can you tell?
