I've been going to Dr. Kimche for three years and have found him to be very professional, kind and concerned. That goes for his team as well. His practice is equipped with the latest digital imaging and crown-making equipment. For example, three years ago I was at a dentist in San Francisco and told that I needed to have a rear molar removed. Thankfully, I waited until I returned to Park City to see Dr. Kimche, who
analyzed the molar and explained to me that he felt that the SF diagnosis was "a bit extreme." He put me on an antibiotic and cleaned out under the molar to get rid of the infection. I cannot believe the man is still in business ... Last June I went in for a routine filling appointment. It wasn't until two days later that anyone from Dr. Kimche's office, his receptionist Lacy, bothered to tell me that Kimche hadn't performed a filling as we had planned, but instead had started a root canal. This ended up being a costly endeavor and the jury's still out as to whether I even needed one in the first place.
Obviously I was beyond frustrated at the lack of communication, and combined with the total disinterest Kimche had in my well-being I decided to never seek his "skills" on my dental work ever again.
I passed off my one strange dental mishap as an isolated incident, however last weekend while watching the Superbowl with some Park City friends, we somehow got on the topic of Dr. Kimche. It turned out that not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR FRIENDS had had very similar experiences in Dr. Kimche's office. Having heard this, I feel it is my personal responsibility to inform the people of Park City: DO NOT SOLICIT DR KIMCHE'S OFFICE UNLESS YOU WANT IMPERSONAL, UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNNECESSARY DENTAL WORK PERFORMED. My times in his dental chair were really just beyond imaginably bad experiences.
