Dr. Kraft is so amazing! The shots didnt hurt having the root canal & teeth pulled didn't hurt at all a little pressure was all. I've always had a huge fear of the dentist every one I've ever been to has been a nightmare except Dr. Kraft he's so gentle & thorough. Long story short, Dr. Kraft is a salesman and he will find something wrong so that he can be the one to "fix" it for you. I would NOT recommend him as a dentist. Here is my full story:
Bit of a background, I've been seeing my dentist up in SLC every 6 months for about 10 years. In all that time I've never had any problems, no cavities, no issues of any kind. I've always had great teeth. We moved to Payson about a year ago and saw Dr. Kraft because he was having a promotion for new patients. He was a nice enough guy, but he found all KINDS of problems. He said my jaw was too small, my teeth were crowded, I had an overbite, I'm tongue tied and I had 6 cavities. Honestly, I felt like he was trying to find problems so that he could "fix" them. He also asked if I had any kids (I have 1) and then he asked if I breastfed him. When I said that I didn't he proceeded to tell me that I "should have" breastfed cuz it's better for the kid and his teeth. He also told me that I should give my toddler hard raw foods like carrots to stimulate tooth growth. He reassured me that he will not choke on these things, because kids ONLY choke on synthetic things like balloons. No joke.
I decided to not go back to Dr. Kraft to have any of my "problems" fixed. My teeth weren't bothering me so I waited to find a new dentist. Fast forward another 6 months and I found another dentist and went in for a cleaning. He proceeded to tell me how beautiful my teeth were and that I had ZERO cavities. So long story short, I will not be returning to Dr. Kraft. He's more of a salesman than a dentist. (Side note, my husband saw Dr. Kraft as a new patient as well, he also has great teeth, and Dr. Kraft found a ton of problems. He recommended that my husband get a sleep study done, and surprise, Dr. Kraft can do that in his office.)

I cannot say enough good about Dr. Kraft and his staff! After having multiple horrible dental experiences, I switched to his office because of the 5* reviews, and I’m so thankful I did! I’ve move my kids there and they love it- no more dental fears/anxiety! They love going to the dentist! The staff is amazing and makes you feel like family!
