Dr. Elder is hands down the best dentist I've ever had! I drive down from Clearfield just to see him and his hygienist Jess. Even my son loves him! He is always gentle, comforting, patient and understanding. He will ALWAYS be our family dentist. And I encourage anyone to make Dr. Elder their dentist!

I already lived them after the first visit.
They are very proactive about prevention of problems and not judge at all if there are teeth problems. But now I have been taking my elderly mom there who had lots of problems and no insurance and both the staff and the dentists have been AMAZING!!!! Got my mother’s teeth out of pain and looking pretty.

Thank you Dr. Elder! For the first time in my life I feel comfortable going to see my dentist. Dr. Elder has performed 1 root canal and 3 new crowns since I joined his practice. Dr Elder is thorough, fast and has a gentle touch which is surprising because he's a tall guy! I love that he remembers my dental history and always educates me about best course of action. He puts my well being ahead of the mighty dollar. Last point...it's always fun to run into a jazz player at his office.

So, I've been thinking a lot about how I wanted to write this review. I want to word it just right so that everybody truly understands how amazing of a dentist Dr. Elder really is.
I worked as Dr. Elders assistant and sadly had to quit because my husband and I ultimately decided that we wanted to raise our family back in our hometown.
Here are some facts about Dr. Elder from my perspective.
1- He really does care about every single person that walks through his doors. One time I asked him what his favorite part about being a dentist was and he said "the people".
2- If you're nervous, he will do everything he can to make you feel comfortable and at ease. (He's also hilarious, so that'll take your mind off of the nerves on it's own.)
3- He takes the time to put the smallest of details in to his work. I was blown away when I saw him put grooves and "anatomy" into a simple filling on the biting surface of a molar. Something, no one except for him and the patient are ever going to see.
4- I don't have a single negative thing to say about him or his work.
I have referred my family to his office and will continue to do so. I will also gladly drive 2 hours in each direction (and pass hundreds of other dental offices along the way) just to continue to have my work done by him.
If you are trying to find a new dentist, I recommend you give Dr. Elders office a try.

Always excellent and personable service with Dr Elders and his staff. I highly recommend him as the best Dentist in the SLC area. In fact, when he moved to his own location a few years back, I and my family followed him. We have to drive a bit farther, but it’s worth the distance!

Scott Elder is amazing! Both me and my husband and now my two sons see Dr. Scott Elder for all are dental needs. He's great with my 7-8 year old boys. And it's always a pleasure to visit his office. Him and his staff score 5 out of 5 stars. Amazing!

11 teeth I had to have pulled! I was scared to say the least 😱 all at once AND wide awake!! NO problem! WoW!!! 😅 Dr. Elder such a nice, down to earth guy. Ask any questions. He wants you to know what’s going on. It is your mouth 👍🏼
