No one LIKES to go to the dentist, but Bloomingtin Dental is GREAT ! The staff really care about you and they go above and beyond to help you feel good about having to go. They continue to be there from start to finish. Until you leave with a beautiful smile!

Amy is a great dental hygienist and walk you through everything.

This is the first dental office EVER that I look forward to visiting. (No I was not paid to write this, and I have no relatives there.)

I found Dr. Neilson & Co. by calling many local dentists about "mercury-safe" filling removal. Bloomington dental's response was professional, informative and very detailed. Other offices gave some of the same info but many sounded confused by my questions--others just said they'd get back to me!

Everyone at Bloomington Dental took my concerns seriously. I wound up coming in early for an emergency crown and was very impressed. Dr. Neilson's staff and associates, led by super-competent Kristie (who CAD-CAM-ed my crown on site), were VERY welcoming.

The office is relaxed, modern and never feels rushed. Dr. Neilson takes time with each patient, and I appreciated how he kept me posted on every step of the procedures--including a SAME DAY crown.

My next visit, the "Mercury-safe" day, really highlighted this experienced crew. Kristie and Kelsie quickly and expertly prepped me (special fittings, oral dam, oxygen--it's almost like surgery), and Dr. Neilson was extremely quick and efficient with the actual removal/replacements.

At every turn they made sure I was comfortable and in good spirits. I really appreciated their concern and high level of communication. They create such an inviting and friendly environment that I was actually eager to schedule a return visit (for my next cleaning).

Kristie, who has a great sense of humor, and the rest of the staff (including Kelsie who was so friendly, and the very knowledgeable Ashlee) create just the right tone.

Dr. Neilson put me completely at ease. He is very experienced, clearly a patient and dedicated craftsman. He has one of the few CAD-CAM based devices in St. George for the same-day crowns--similar to 3-D printing. He let me watch the crown take shape while I waited--absolutely fascinating.

He also showed a lot of concern when I came back for a fine-tune "bite adjustment" of the fillings and new crown. They got me in very quickly and resolved the minor crunch-factor (tough to get right the first time due to numbness.)

I wouldn't go anywhere else for dental work. Please give them a chance to show what they can do.

This is a wonderful dentist!!! He saved 2 of my teeth that I was told by another dentist had to be extracted. All they needed was fillings!! Was eternally grateful to Dr. Nelson!!! Had one extracted due to decay. I will recommend this dentist and office to everyone I know!!! Thank you all!!!

I’ve visited several other dental offices in the area before finding Bloomington Dental, and I can say with confidence that the people who make up Bloomington Dental are among the best. They really care about the patients and how they feel. They also care to see how you’re doing outside the office. Overall a great environment, and definitely noteworthy.

Dr Neilson and staff are amazing. I would highly recommend them for all you dental needs. They treat you like family. I have had several cavities treated, root canals, and teeth whitening procedures, all with amazing results.

Other than my own idiocy for not coming in regularly which caused more work to be done, visit very positive. Doctor is personal and down to earth, office is clean and organized, staff is very helpful and friendly! I do have one complaint: Though I have kids close to or older than all the assistants, and hygienist in the office, I have to say they are all VERY cute! So my complaint is, you feel kinda vulnerable sitting there with these pretty ladies having to stick their hands in your mouth (if not obvious this is actually a compliment). In all honesty, probably the best Dentist Office I've been to. Professional but still enjoyable.

Dr Nielsen and his team are always helpful. They are taking all of the precautions to keep their patients and staff safe. I recommend Dr Nielsen to all of my friends here in St George. Looking forward to my tattooed crown in November!!!
