Platinum Dental of St George

So far it’s been a great experience Memori at the front is so amazing and super nice! I had to get a deep cleaning and the dental hygienist had to numb me but i could still feel some pain and didn’t numb me a bit more when I asked. Hope next visit could be less painful.😔

I used to see Dr. Albrecht for years at this same office that Platinum dental took over. I broke my front tooth in half & it was severely painful. I tried to get in as soon as they could get me in. It took them almost a week to get any help from them. Dr. Acevedo said it'd be a good idea to keep tooth so he could save the bone for possible implant because I mentioned I was looking into getting them in the future. So he shaved my tooth down & said ok you're good to go & made a big retainer with a tooth on it. Which was very expensive. (It broke 3 weeks after receiving it.) I had to go in 5 different times for this same tooth because I was in severe pain. I was given some antibiotics & was in pain for 2 weeks while I was working. I had to see another dentist & I had to be sedated by an anesthesiologist to have this tooth extracted. My new dentist that extracted my tooth, said it was extremely infected & should have been extracted from the very beginning. I also had Dr. Acevedo fix a cavity so heģ crowned my cavity & said "it was fixed" I had to go back in 3 more times for this cavity & I was in extreme pain again. "I said to him it must be infected, or something is wrong" Because I could not bite down, or it would send a shockwave through my body. He said there was no infection & he shaved down the crown so it wouldn't hit any other teeth when I would bite down. I am now having a root canal done on this tooth. My new dentist will make sure it is done correctly.? Also I have double coverage dental insurance. The receptionist said "for your secondary insurance it'd better for them to hear from an angry dental patient to get them to pay for their portion of the bill." There were more negitive things that happened. ( If you can believe it.) This was just unbelievable how unprofessional things were.
I have tried leaving messages, because I have a positive balance owed to me. I believe this all comes down to experience also money. My wife and I didn't want this place to do our dental implants, or anything else.

This has costed time, money, loss of work hours, a lot of painful days and nights, etc...

I hope you take the time to read this. Also no one has to go through what I did. This has been the worst medical or dental experience I have had in my life.

Best cleaning I have ever had. Everyone is smiling, procedures explained. They made me feel like I was the only patient they had. No one was rushing you, I felt cared for. I highly recommend Platinum Dental.

They were so nice and got me in the very next morning after cracking a tooth. I was particularly impressed with the personalized care I received from the team at Platinum Dental. Dr. Acevedo took the time to make sure my procedure was pain free. Everything about my visit was perfect. Thanks again and again. Will keep coming back.

Being forced into an expensive procedure by my dentist, who won't just remove a broken tooth, is not exactly what I would call a "good experience"!

My parents are in their 90's and in memory care. The Platinum Dental staff is very kind, patient & gentle with them while providing them excellent service.

Super group of people at Platinum. It was educational and enjoyable despite the fillings and crown work. I look forward to a long relationship with this professional group of nice people.

I don’t like the open exam rooms that was very surprising. Not exactly looking forward to a dental cleaning with an audience of whatever passerby’s there are. I don’t recall now but I don’t think there was even a curtain that could be closed

I appreciated the way Morgan explained everything to me. Everyone seemed to work well together and the office had a very positive atmosphere.

Very impressed with Dr. Ben, Kristie and Maria.All were very thorough they gave me the information I need to make an informed decision. I have seen other Dentists in the area with respect to the rather significant amount of reconstruction and new crowns I want to have done and nowhere have I felt more comfortable with Platinum Dental, Dr. Ben and Christie. I want them as my dental providers! My decision has been made to go with them for the work I need and as my future dentist. I consider them not only my professional dentist but friends as well.
