I've never felt like they did anything unnecessarily painful. They explained upcoming issues and clearly explained their plans for dealing with them. I also appreciate the appointment reminder emails and the pre-appointment texts with reminders about how they're handling things during the pandemic.

I have been going to this dentistry for over 20 years... Not only is the staff incredible, but at worst when I needed emergency appointments - they have always squeezed me and other family members in when needed. You're not just a client at this dentistry, you're part of their family and they genuinely care about your well-being.

I've been seeing Dr. Kwok for over 4 years now and he is very good and let's you know exactly what's going on and tell exactly what it is. Everyone in this practice is very good. Highly recommend them.

I was impressed with my first appointment with Dr. Kwok and the Family Dentistry staff. I appreciate how Dr. Kwok and staff explained what they were doing and why it was important throughout the entire appointment. I've tried a lot of dentists over the years and Dr. Kwok doesn't seem like a dentist who is eager to fix every little defect in order to milk you for all the money he can. I think I'm going to stick with this one for as long as I can.

I love Dr. Don and his staff. They work together like a well oiled machine - all staff are professional, caring, and embrace a high standard of care. Dr. Don would not tolerate anything less and I appreciate a perfectionist when it comes to my oral health. I have heard horror stories from friends that shop for a dentist and without hesitation I recommend Family Dentistry. Believe it or not I look forward to my dental visits - for me it is like visiting family - family that I enjoy seeing and chatting with. The entire staff display care and concern that I don't find anywhere else. I am always comfortable and confident that I am receiving the best care and treatment available by Dr. Don and his staff. I have been a loyal patient for many many years - from the very beginning of the life of Dr. Don and Dr. Nguyen's practice. Considering the pandemic and its effects - Dr. Don and his entire staff have a system in place to insure that everyone is all on the same page regarding safety to avoid possible contamination and they employ this high standard of care regardless of the current global situation. You can bet that Family Dentistry of VA goes beyond what CDC advises and I appreciate that extra caution and concern. I wish my medical doctors were as conscientious as Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Don at Family Dentistry of VA. My dental care is a personal thing and I am very happy that Family Dentistry is my dentist. If I ever move from this area you can bet I will fly to be treated here. Am always impressed with the entire office! They are wonderful and have your oral health as their priority!

Best dentist I have had in decades. He is funny and entertaining and keeps you informed of the whole process. He will tell you his educated and experience ladened opinion of your options but does not try to force his decision on you. He is not about recomending procedures you don't need to fatten his pockets. You need to be refered to him by a current patient normally. To me he is like the good car mechanic - hard to find but once you find one - don't let go!

Dr. Don and everyone in the office is very professional, have a strict protocol to keep everyone safe from COVID, and does a great job. I can't recommend them enough, they are very conscientious about doing their jobs well.
