Vacendak Dentistry

Marisol was a wonderful dental assistant and Dr. Sheila Vacendak is a great dentist always. I continue to have wonderful and personable experiences every time I go. The staff is always friendly and makes it feel likes we’re all friends here. Definitely recommend Vacendak Dentisty for anyone! They are also very understanding and sweet to my young 3 year old when I take her in for her cleanings.

Efficiency is what makes this place so great. Equipment is is updated allowing the technicians to work more effectively and they really take their time with their patients. I saw Dr. Daniel Vacendak and Melissa, they were a great team and provided wonderful customer service and care! I look forward to my future visits :)

I've been coming here for a few years and I like that they value the health of my teeth and practice preventative maintenance not just corrective work. It takes a bit more time but I appreciated having Kelly take measurements of my gums, pointing out areas of concern and Dr. Shelia checking my lymph nodes. They are also genuinely nice people from the front desk to everyone in the back. I will always recommend this practice, they are the best.

We have loved our experience at Vacendak Dentistry. It has been the best office we have ever been to. All of our dental needs and questions have always been met. I can’t say enough of good things about Cassondra. She always is so comforting and makes us feel at ease when we have to get dental work done. My son usually feels nervous when going to the dentist but Cassondra has always done such an amazing job with him. We have had experience with both Dr. Sheila and Dr. Daniel and have only good things to say about their work.

We met the team here when we had to move yet again with the Military. From the first visit it has felt like home. Our youngest, who has autism, needed dental work the whole office worked with us on his care. The team made sure that he saw the same folks each time. Maricel and Dr. Sheila have been so Amazing. Dr. Dan has been helpful and understanding when some extra numbing was needed as well. This is a top notch dentist office the whole family will feel at home with!

I’ve had a difficult time being numbed previously from other dentists. We had a little but of a hard time but the entire process went much smoother. Dr Sheila was very sweet and friendly. Maricel was a great assistant as well: The process was fast and the crown was made the same day so I didn’t have to come back a week later.

As always in the past, I had a great experience today at Vacendak Dentistry. I was greeted with a friendly welcome by the reception staff. My dental hygienist, Whitnee Woods, was prompt in bringing me back for my six-month cleaning and exam. Whitnee alerted me to every procedure throughout the cleaning so I would know exactly what to expect. She was very friendly and professional. Following my cleaning, Dr. Vacendak examined my mouth and teeth. She was also very friendly, professional and thorough. I highly recommend Vacendak Dentistry!

Dr Sheila was my dentist in Chicago and I am glad we could reconnect again. Any work done on my mouth isn't my favorite thing and after a few... quite a few years away from my last cleaning, I knew I could trust her and her team. I gave them a heads up, I have a bad gag reflex, some anxiety issues and I was worried that my teeth were in bad disarray, especially after the last few years. I was set up with Kellie who did a phenomenal job. Not only was she patient and took the time to listen and make sure to discuss what was the best way to handle my issues, we worked with each other to get past the most concerning issues with a great success. To my surprise, my teeth weren't in horrible shape, but a good amount of build up needed to be removed. I felt educated about with each step and in the end, I felt a whole lot better about my teeth and my smile versus when I walked in. Her staff and their skill level made me know I was in good hands, I can't recommend them enough.

After years of having severe anxiety at the dentist Dr. Sheila and Marisol took the time to make sure I was comfortable and kept me informed every step of the way. I came in worried and left feeling relieved. The office is very clean and all of the staff are super friendly!

Dr. Daniel Vacendak is wonderful, caring with all details as possible to make my visit comfortable. I just had 2 crowns and they look fantastic. Fit/look like real teeth. After many dentists all around Hamptonroads, had bad experiences, lost 3 teeth and lots of $, (and tears) — this is the place I am going to visit with confidence.
I will move my entire family members to Vacendak Dentistry.
