Nova Family Dentistry: Dr. Namrata Kaur

My experience with Nova Family Dentistry has been great. I was impressed with their quality service from the first day I visited. Dr. Kaur is very personable and friendly. She makes sure she explains the service she is about to render and answers all questions you have. The staff members are very welcoming and make your visit worthwhile.

Today I had a deep cleaning and Dr. Kaur suggested a new numbing method without an injection! All I had to do was swish in my mouth for 1min and just like that my gums were numb! I did not feel any pain! I was impressed! And I didn’t have the weird external numbing feeling that happens with the numbing injections. I highly recommend it as an option for your dental 🦷 numbing needs. Thanks Dr. Kaur and staff 🤩

I hadn't been to the dentist for some time and I was a little nervous about what dentist I should choose. I read some reviews and saw a constant theme of Dr. Kaur being caring, gentle and takes the fear out of going to the dentist. So I decided to visit this practice. My experience was the same, I had a great experience the process was quick, painless and I definitely would recommend to others and already have. The staff is very friendly and caring as well.

I've had dental work done for the past 30 yrs of my life at various places stateside and international. With that said when I was sent to Nova Family Dentistry (Dr. K) 😊, I was very nervous about getting treatment at this place based on past experiences and mis diagnosis. However, I can truly said this place has provided the best customer, and service that I can see the benefits of their work. I say this with heartfelt sentiments I wish I was under her care and treatment 30 yrs ago. In addition, My daughter is also a client of the practice and she too has been in many, many, many dental chairs throughoit her 16 years. Dr. K. knows her job very, very, very well hands down. She's not going to diagnose a dental problem just because or not giving you the full explanation what's going on inside your mouth.

Another great quality about the practice is that it's small, hygienically very good, and fy, and the staff is very attentive and work with you and around your schedule to get you booked for your follow ups appts, and they are not annoying in doing so it's actually a very good reminder and they have an excellent system in place that sends you a text message to what mobile number you provide to remind you. This is a think outside the box business model bc most places will send an email or leave a voice message. This team of people they text you and call you. I love it. Lastly, they understand the complexity of this area and making to your appts on time, so they work with you if you iu are late for your appt. This place postive energy makes you want to ckeep coming back without hesitation.

Dr. Kaur has done a great job with Invisilign for my kid and many more timely treatments for my family! I trust her judgement

Everytime I visit I have a great experience. The staff is lively and friendly, especially Asmae at the front desk. They make me feel welcome and Dr Kaur is always knowledgeable and forthright in explaining my dental situation. In addition, she is also a great conversationalist! I couldn't go anywhere else and feel so at home.

I originally saw Dr. Kaur with no issues for a few visits, but then she said I needed 5 fillings which I originally scheduled over 2 appointments, but took an extra appointment due to poor scheduling on her part. The last filling was a cavity between two teeth that was done improperly and caused a large gap between those two teeth that caused large amounts of food to get stuck in it. When I went back to the office a fourth time about this, she said I would need to come back a fifth time to have one of the teeth re-filled. At this point I lost most faith in Dr. Kaur and decided to go see my childhood dentist in another state to get their opinion. This dentist was able to fix the filling and stated that the filling they just fixed was poorly done. I also showed them X-rays from earlier this year and they were shocked I had any of my “cavities” filled. They said there were small spots, but it was shocking Dr. Kaur did not wait more than 6 months to see if the extremely small spots would heal on their own. I also had billing issues with this office and got billed an extra $200 that the office said was a mistake when I brought it to their attention. Thanks to Dr. Kaur I most likely got 5 fillings I did not need that will likely cost me hundreds of dollars over my lifetime. Not to mention a crown the most recent dentist said I might need in the future due to her poor work. Avoid her at all costs.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Kaur regularly for years. She has outstanding skills and is up-to-date with techniques and technology. She's very communicative and personable; she's great about discussing your issues and makes sure to get your views and feedback. She always keeps your comfort in mind and is careful about not causing pain. For all these reasons she's popular with kids as well as adults. We highly recommend her.

Dr. Kaur is very professional; she takes the time to explain things to patients and has a great bedside manner. Her staff is very friendly. Their office has taken extra precautions due to COVID-19 and I felt safe and comfortable visiting the office twice in June 2020.
