I have not been to the dentist in well over a year because I excessively have brushed my teeth so much over the years that I have worn down the enamel, exposing root areas, which can just about be so painful you will see stars and hurt so bad even during a simple cleaning. And not to mention, my last dentist poked those areas quite a few times even after I told the hygienist that it was too painful to bear. Resulting in a fear so great, I wasn't sure that i would ever have the courage to go back in the chair for healthy teeth care. But let me tell you, Both the hygienist and the dentist were the most caring and compassionate people with whom I have ever met. The hygienist put a topical numbing agent carefully on small sections, and spoke to me the entire time. I had zero pain. zero! Her name is Michelle. This young professional, eased my fears and my pain while also keeping my mind occupied the entire time! I cannot praise her enough on here, also the dentist was just as sweet and compassionate!

I love the dental care they provide us and lately, I have been in the care of Christian who is fresh out of dental hygiene school within the past year. Simply put he rocks! Great experience! I went to VA Family Dentistry after a recommendation from a friend. My current dentist was suggesting that verneers were the best solution to the bonding that was chipping away on my front teeth. I went to VA Family Dentistry for a second opinion and Dr Diane did not hesitate to try to instead replace the bonding first.
