I am Martina Creger and Dr. Larkin w/Virginia Family Dentistry has been my dentist for the past 10 years or so. He's always friendly, professional and punctual. The hygienists that work with him are also friendly, compassionate and gentle. I appreciate the fact that I can easily continue to schedule my cleanings with the same hygienist, in my opinion, that is as important as seeing the same dentist. I do have dental insurance and anticipated charges for a procedure that will be partially covered, or not covered are explained in detail before the procedure takes place. I have recommended this practice to family and friends without hesitation.

10/08/18. Just had my cleaning. Went great. My dentist is Iachini and she is fantastic. The gentleman that cleaned my teeth is Christian, and he was wonderful.
Had an appt with Mr Larkin on 02/19/23. He evaluated my situation and found it not to be as bad as I thought. Gave me recommendation.

This place does not even deserve a 1, a zero at that. No one knows what they are doing. You give them your insurance info and the person says "we have never seen this before". Recall my insurance company again to call them and spoke with someone else and they do accept my insurance. Set up an appointment for today several days ago and go in today and they can not seen to find my name. Like what is going on with this practice and the people at front desk and dealing with the insurance. I feel like I'm dealing with stupidity. No compassion at all. I have been dealing with pain for weeks. No sympathy or empathy. They just just left me walk out disappointed. I hope the dentist see how their company is run. Very dissatisfied.

Dr. Lyons seen me on short notice for emergency implants surgery. This was a very invasive process since my teeth had essentially fused into the bone over the last 40 years. Dr. Lyons and his assistant were very professional and courteous, etc. etc. Thank you.
