I just moved to the area last September and did not know where to even begin in choosing a dentist. Luckily, the area I am in has awards every year for the best businesses in Hampton Roads and Dr. Abbey Horwitz won the area in Virginia Beach in 2013 and many other years so that was my decision. I was happy with the service. I called to schedule an appointment and the process was very simple and friendly. I was greeted with a warm welcome and did not have to wait long at all to be seen by the dental hygienist, Beth! She was awesome! She had the friendliest smile and walked me through everything we were going to take care of during my exam including taking care of the things that I was inquiring about such as invisalign. Dr. Hoffman then came in and examined me and he was very thorough and welcoming. He gave me his recommendations and referrals to make sure I walked out of there knowing all my options when it comes to my teeth :) The check out process was also very easy, they had everything ready to go and answered all my questions. I really enjoyed this dental office and would recommend it to anyone, especially if you are new in the area and just signed up for tricare dental program for military!

I was fortunate to find Dr. Abby Horwitz and The Art of Dentistry twenty years ago when moving to Va. Beach. I am delighted with this practice. I see Beth Johnston for bi annual cleanings and she is friendly, professional, and very thorough. I see Dr. Horwitz or an associate for other necessities. I have had fillings and root canals and have always been pleased with their expertise and most importantly pain free treatments. I highly recommend this practice for all your dental needs.

I have been going here for several years after researching them online. I have been to dozens of dentists over the decades and this office is the best dentist office I have ever experienced. They are good with their patients. I commented to Dr. Dorfman, yesterday, that my procedure was the most pleasurable procedure I have ever had at a dentist (had to have two fillings replaced). They know what they are doing, they aren't pushy, and they have your best interests in mind. Pick Kristy as your hygienist, she's awesome.
