Sobczak Wencel Dentistry

My family and I have been patients at Sobczak Wencel Dentistry for more than 20 years. We have always found the office to be of the highest professional standards. The office is fresh and modern, utilizing state of the art equipment and procedures. The staff, from the receptionists and hygienists, to the doctors themselves, have always gone out of their way to make us feel valued. It is refreshing to visit a practice where everyone is on a first name basis. In these time of "covid consciousness", we feel safe every time we visit.

I have been a patient of Sobczak Wencel Dentistry for over 14 years and have found the entire office and staff to be extremely professional, thorough, and caring. In addition, they have implemented comprehensive safety protocols to ensure their patient and staff's safety. I feel completely safe and know that they are looking out for my best interest every time I go there. I highly recommend them!!

This is hands down the best dental clinic I have ever visited. Service, skill and environment are all top notch. They are caring, sensitive and gentle. I had no discomfort with any procedures. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Sobczak-Wencel Dentistry for the last three years. After the initial work on my lower teeth and upper denture of which I had outstanding results with both and over the years is still holding up very well, for anyone I run into needing dentist services besides my family that this is the dentist I recommend.
The staff are very professional, experienced in their work of which makes for a very enjoyable dentist experience each time I go for follow up cleanings.

8/6/19 This is the best dental practice I have ever used. They are technically superb and have excellent people skills. I have been kept well informed of what is needed and when. Their business office helps me determine the most effective use of my dental insurance. They care about my well being. The seven years we have been with Sobczak-Wencel Dentistry have been exemplars of friendly, professional service. I highly recommend the practice.

12/6/19 I wanted to update my comments as I am currently getting an implant done by Sobczak-Wencel Dentistry and am impressed by the process. The expense, time-line, and procedure are well documented. The process itself produces a minimum of discomfort while the work is being done - ibuprofen is pretty much all that is required for pain management after the procedure. I've had an other implant done by the doctor and it was smooth sailing all the way. I guess I'm trying to say whether you are having something as simple as a filling, or something big like an implant, the doctors and their staff do wonderful, empathetic work with sterling results. This is a practice you want to include in your health care solutions.

I recently visited twice over a couple weeks (my appointment was split up). On my visit yesterday, the entire office came to sing happy birthday to my hygienist. Harmless enough...except Dr. Sobczak was there - with NO MASK ON - singing. SINGING. And guess who else didn't have a mask on? Me - because I was in the chair for my cleaning. So that's cool--nothing like someone singing unmasked at you in the middle of a pandemic. So, needless to say, I'll never be returning to this dentist and I'd advise others against it as well.

If that weren't bad enough, this isn't even the only time I saw staff without masks during my mere 2 hours in this office. The front desk employee had her mask off and almost came to talk to me with it off when I arrived to check in. Additionally, Dr. Sobczak removed his mask to greet me. Why? No clue.

If the Doctor whose name is on the building is acting this way and allowing his staff to act this way in front of patients, I don't even want to know what else is going on behind the scenes.

Steer clear.

As you see from the Owner's reply (Dr. Wencel), they didn't address (let alone apologize) for the disregard for patient health that Dr. Sobczak showed when he sang, unmasked and in my direction, during my cleaning (when I too was unmasked).

Instead, she defended her staff and partner being unmasked inside their office and belittled me by pointing out things I "may not have noticed" (which I did). Face shields are not replacements for masks (according to the CDC), and NO MASK being worn, not to mention around an unmasked patient, is 100% unacceptable.

I think their reply speaks for itself. If you want to be in a place that doesn't take your health and safety seriously and where the owners are defensive when presented with issues at their practice, then this is the place for you.

Dr. Sobczak is a rare breed of doctors caring not only for the physical (pain) needs of his patients but also their emotional as well. Having been brought up as the son of an RN and later hospital administrator being raised in and out of dozens of healthcare facilities from Chicago to Oregon knowing personally hundreds of doctors and nurses In addition to once being a Firefight/EMT myself knowing hundreds more I can say that I am a decent judge of medical character. Dr. Sobczak is to put it mildly among the very best people in the medical field that I have ever had the pleasure to meet. His staff, no, his office family are all equally as caring and compassionate and a true mirror reflection of the man himself.

The level of professionalism (by all the staff) combined with the overall true love of helping others (by all the staff) is refreshing to the point of making the entirety of him and his office family almost feel like your very own caring, loving and considerate brothers and sisters.

Even though there are countless other places scattered throughout the region to get the care and services you need to relieve your dental dilemma or needs I personally would look no further than Sobczak-Wencel Dentistry. In that very first visit you will find exactly what you are looking for and much more that you never knew that you needed out of your dental health caregivers.

Dr. Sobczak is the best dentist that I have ever had. I am sixty and have a sweet tooth, so I have visited many dentists, many times, and had many different procedures. Dr. Sobczak’s staff are also excellent. Dr. Sobzack and his staff will give you the very best dental care.

Dr. Sobczak and the entire staff are really amazing. I always had a great experience visiting them. Dr. Sobczak always took time to address my concerns, answer my questions and explaining treatment. On multiple occasions the office was able to see me when I had emergent issues come up. I highly recommend them!

This dental office - dentists and staff -are friendly, professional and thorough! The waiting room feels very relaxed - parking is great! I highly recommend it!
