Dr Hogg is an experienced professional who really cares about his patients. Hygienist is awesome as are all his assistants . We went to Dr Hogg years ago but he moved and we went to the Dentist that took over but Dr Hogg came back and we are going to him again. I feel very comfortable there.

Our family had been going to Dr. James Hogg's dentistry in Vancouver, WA for a long time before the Dr. had moved away. When we heard that he had opened up a new place in Camas we immediately transferred our children to Camas Dentistry. Very friendly dentist and staff, they make you feel welcome and go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. Dr. James Hogg is the most friendliest, most gentle Dr we've ever been to! Anything he does is gentle, and shots are pain free other than a small pinch. The atmosphere is like if you were to come home, we have known them for a log time. Cindy, the lady that works there, best teeth cleaner ever! She is super friendly, makes you feel at home and very comfortable! We recommend that everyone go with any teeth problems, you wont regret it. We will never go to another dentistry ever again!

Great dentist with quality work. Well worth the cost for quality dental care. I have had bad experiences in the past with other dentists that have been overly aggressive in terms of doing unnecessary fillings and dental work, but with Dr. Hogg's more conservative approach I have for instance been able to put off unnecessary fillings for mild cavities that with more focused dental care ended up not progressing to larger cavities. This saves cost and hassle as fillings wear out and have to be repaired, or future work due to unnecessary fillings may be needed such as crowns or root canals.
I would choose Camas Dentistry over questionable low cost dentists as the quality of the dental work is better, and you will likely save money anyway as some dentists will unfortunately do unnecessary dental work and fillings that weaken your teeth and raise bottom line costs beyond what you would pay for better care at Camas Dentistry.
Finally, Google deleted a lot of the older reviews, including my own, but those reviews were overwhelmingly positive, as is mine.

They are very professional and very efficient. I have had 4 appointments so far and every time I left the office with good feeling. So far I am very much pleased with the treatment Dr. Hogg and the Dental Hygienist did on my teeth. I would recommend Camas Dentistry to anyone who is looking for good and sincere dental office.

Camas Dentistry is the place you're looking for your family. Dr.Hogg and his staff were my childhood dentistry. I'm so happy they're back in Vancouver, WA area! It is the most trusted and loved place. They are kid friendly and accept state coverage. My children comes here now and they love it so much. My kids and I had such great experience. They made my kids feel relaxed and fearless. I was very surprised how my daughter didn't even wiggled her toe when they gave her a shot to do the treatment. She is the one that is scared to take any medicine especially shots.
They are very gentle, nice, respectful, and professional. They made us feel like a family and we all just love them, and will never look for anything better ....because THEY are the BEST!!
