I went in for a routine cleaning and was in the chair within 2 minutes of my appointment, this is not the exception but usually the rule at Mountain View Dental! Jill was great with me. She explained what she was going to do and was very professional and gentle with her work! Great atmosphere in Dr Joshua Kirks office. I can’t recommend Mountain View Dental group more. The doctors, hygienist and staff are great! Very friendly, professional, and welcoming. I hadn't been to a dentist is much too long and also have dental anxiety. I felt very comfortable and didn't feel judgment for anyone. They have gone above and beyond my expectations! Definitely recommend Mountain View Dental if you're looking for a new dentist!

A CHANGE OF HEART
For many years I have adopted and repeated the chant "I hate dentists".
My parents introduced me to the dentist when I was young. Later when I was an adult, I had dental insurance through work. I felt the pressure once again to "take advantage of this privilege" and attend the dentist receiving what felt like a pitchfork dragged across my teeth looking for a bodily reaction and several polishing sessions that surely removed what little enamel I had. Never did I go to the dentist with pain to be treated but was treated to pain for days after every visit. A few weeks ago I felt one of my grinders twinging. Soon my whole face felt swollen and the fear hit. I am seeking a dentist after years of relaxation. I Looked down the advertising list of local dentists, passing on those that claimed brighter smiles and settled on a "general dentistry" ad. I landed at Mountain View Dental with Dr. Joshua Kirk.
No berating for inheriting bad teeth, no pitchforks poking for holes, just a quick photo followed immediately with recommended treatment and a quote which saved me the embarrassment of having to ask. After a painless extraction I followed up the next week with the recommended and quoted next step for a crown replacement which was another pleasurable experience. Crowns can be milled in house for same visit installment. No more after taste from adhesives was very nice. Dr Kirk and everyone of the staff (sorry I can't remember names very well) were kind, professional, and very efficient. The follow up personal phone calls from Dr Kirk are both professional care and good business practice.
Now I can say "I love dentists" but hate having to be a patient.
Dr Kirk and the staff at Mountain View Dental are a gift from my Lord.

My daughter was having an issue with a stubborn baby tooth. We are new to the area and did not already have a dentist. I called and they got her in the very next day and took care of her tooth. She is a tough patient but the Dr. was very patient, stern when he had to be, but my daughter really liked him. We are not new and long term patients! Thanks!
