Compared to other dentists I have experience Sagawa is great! Dr. Sagawa may be the best dentist I've ever had. He's the first dentist whose ever actually explained to me why I experience certain dental troubles in a way that I can understand. He will only drill if he needs to and explains all of your options thoroughly. He shares an office with Dr. Rose Bailey, and if he ever leaves town she'll fill in. She is also exceptional. Their office staff is really good too. They're super accommodating of billing and insurance concerns. They even followed up with me to tell me when an insurance authorization was delayed in case I wanted to reschedule my appointment so that I wouldn't encounter billing surprises.

Dr. Sagawa and everyone at Gentle Dentistry truly live up to their name: They are super gentle, kind and understanding with their words and instructions, and to top it off, nerd level when it comes to explaining. I have been to a lot of dentists over my life, and at my first visit, they made what I thought was going to be awful news, a completely welcome and easy experience.
