I went to Selah Creek Dental for a consultation yesterday. I was immediately greeted by the office staff. They were so helpful and friendly. The whole dental office was very clean and inviting. Dr. McCay was awesome! Explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. I highly recommend Selah Creek Dental!

This is the best place ever! The dentist and staff are friendly and understanding. Our entire family goes here, wish I had him as a dentist as a child, he is completely understanding. The atmosphere is amazing. I especially appreciate how Dr. McKay takes the time to go over treatment plans and is understanding along with his team when it comes to my kids of which 2 are special needs

If I could give no stars I would. We started going to Selah Creek Dental two years ago and things were great at first. Both myself, my mother, and my son were patients. This first issue to arise was with me.
I was told I needed 4 fillings along with other dental work, but that the fillings were not the top priority so I proceeded with their recommendations and had the other things taken care of first. This unfortunately maxed out my dental benefits. After going back and forth with different office staff (Sandra is amazing and the only one worth dealing with!!) about cash payment discounts, pre payment discounts, and other things I decided to get a second opinion based on the recommendation of a friend in the industry. After X-Rays and exams from not only a second dentist but my oral surgeon I was informed that I DO NOT have 4 cavities or even the start of them and do not need over $900 in fillings.
They stopped accepting my son's insurance, but were willing to keep him as a patient and continue to bill his insurance since I was a patient there. Once they figured out that I had not been seen there in a while they told informed me that they in fact wouldn't be able to keep him as a patient. Which is fine as I no longer want to send him there, but I find it odd that as long as I'm paying cash they can bill his insurance, but once they realized I wasn't going to be giving them my money it was somehow impossible.
The office seems to care more about their bottom line than patient care. Don't trust them and get a second opinion if you need a lot of work done!!!
