Charles Kim Dentistry - Downtown Tacoma Dentist

This is the best dentist experience I've ever had in my life. As someone who had a lot of dental surgery as a kid, I've always been anxious about going to the dentist. But Dr. Kim and his staff are so gentle and so understanding. They are extremely thorough, but also do things quickly so you don't have to be there too long. I had to have three fillings on my second visit and it felt like it was over in 30 minutes. Highly, highly recommend Dr. Kim!

Having recently moved to Tacoma, I was a bit nervous when it came to setting up a new dentist, but I couldn't be happier with my experience so far. Dr. C and his staff have taken excellent care of me (and my partner!), whether at regular cleanings or the sporadic semi-urgent stuff that's arisen in between. Huge thanks to all involved, looking forward to my next cleaning!

As a kid I remeber my famiky dentist. They knew you when you walked in and only was there to give you the oral care you needed. DR Kim operates his practice the way I remember dentistry from my childhood. Thank you for keeping with traditions of personal care and having a nice office that makes you feel comfortable as you enter. Your selection of professionals that work with you is equal in your goal of customer service. Thank you for taking the best care of my family!

Dr. Kim and his team created a world class experience for me and my boyfriend- we both, like many others, are not fans of the dentist office. Upon arriving into the chic, clean, contemporary we were greeted by the whole team and instantly felt at ease. He is careful to explain what he is doing and checks in constantly during the check-up. 10/10 experienced, I literally have been sharing with all of my friends and co-workers about my “cool” dentist. Keep it up!

Just finished my first visit with them. Everyone one who works there is delightful! On top of this the office is extremely high tech, you will get the best possible treatment. Dr. Kim was very kind and cared a lot about who I was and what I needed from a dentist. His explanations were in depth and highly informative, the dude knows his stuff!

Probably the best dentist I ever had. Dr. Kim saved me from a terrible toothache just before my wedding day! I thought I would die from the pain and won’t be able to enjoy my wedding day but Dr. Kim was able to see me the same day I called in. All of his staff is so friendly and accommodating, you can sense that he genuinely cares about his clients and really listens to what they have to say. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a dentist.

I think that it’s important, especially during this time that you are able to trust your provider. I can absolutely say that I trust Dr. Kim and his staff. They are AMAZING. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and Dr. Kim is very thorough in his process and explanation of procedures. I’m not sure how many people would say they are excited to see their dentist but you will. I have zero anxiety now and I know I will get the best care. He’s up to date on technology and the office setting is clean and beautiful. If I could I would give more stars!!!

Dr Kim is friendly, professional and good at what he does. As a side note, he is also a caring compassionate guy in general. After moving here from Northern California, where I had top of the line dentistry care, I was a bit concerned about finding a dentist who would do quality work. I am definitely happy to have met Dr Kim and to have become one of his clients. So much so, that I drive around 30 minutes from home just to see him in his office.

I went to Dr. Charles Kim for a routine dental cleaning, their office was very clean, all of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. During my cleaning, Dr. Kim recommended that I get some more dental work done to avoid larger issues in the future, which I was happy to do. Afterwards, he personally took the time to contact me to make sure everything was healing as it should be. He calls himself a "Show and Tell" person, which is very fitting. He took pictures of the inside of my mouth so that he could show me what was going on while explaining everything in detail. I will be continuing to go to Dr. Kim as long as I am in the area.
