I’m always confident when I leave from a cleaning that I’ve been set up with the best plan, and the absolute best approach for my dental care needs. The Yamaguchi Family Dentist clinic has been my family's dental clinic for years. Dr. Gordon recently retired but Dr. Garret carries on the family expertise and tradition for excellence. This is a great clinic in a lovely new building, with up to date dental equipment, and a fish video on the ceiling for something to look at while laying in the chair. I especially appreciated the dental clinic assistants' explanation of everything they were doing when working on my teeth and their upbeat, cheerful attitude and concern for my well-being. I’ve been going to Yamaguchi’s since 10/6/2006 when it was in the original building off Capitol Way in Olympia. I now go to the new building in Tumwater and now see Dr. Garrett, a second generation dentist, at Yamaguchi’s! That in itself says it all! The new building is beautiful and top notch! The staff is always kind and very thorough! They do it all there and it’s affordable!

Had my teeth cleaned today by the hygienist Akeisha she did a great job! Very throw and gentle. The new office is beautiful. All of the staff at Yamaguchi Family Dentistry is friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to your dental health. The best dental office I have ever been too.

I had my first deep cleaning today, so was a little anxious. I was greeted warmly and made comfortable in the chair. First, the overall process was explained to me and then each step of the way was also explained ahead of time. I was asked periodically…how I was doing. At about the halfway mark I was asked if I needed a break. I liked being told that if the saliva built up too much I could just close my lips over the suction apparatus. All my needs were taken care of. I felt very respected and valued. I’m grateful that I have no need to be anxious about my second deep cleaning!
