Got in and out quickly, staff was kind and comprehensive about my visit. The dentist was willing to answer all of my questions and did not make me feel rushed.
Prices are so reasonable there, it's astounding. Best dentists in town. And they offer appointments for weekends!!

First time I’ve enjoyed a dentist visit. The staff and the Hygienist were amazing. (The Dentist himself was too) I’ve never liked going to the dentist, actually I dread it. If you are not going to Dr. Karlson at West Richland Dental then you are missing out. The staff is awesome and very helpful. I broke a tooth and they saw me very quickly. I will readily admit that I am the biggest baby when it comes to going to the dentist! Dr. Karlson and Hannah were excellent. I am from WV where tooth care is not a priority, but Dr. Karlson was fabulous. I am an oldie but goodie, let's just say my filling was older than the dentist! But, this is the first time at a dentist visit I have had zero pain! Yes, let me repeat that, ZERO pain. Kudos to him and his staff. I actually don't dread my next visit. The best part was the price, which was was very, very, reasonable!

Upon arriving to my appointment they had connected me to a random person with my same last name and tried to run their insurance as my own. Needless to say that did not work.
I brought my 5 year old with me and they scheduled us at the same time….. when I called and scheduled I said he is 5 so we need back to back.
So the fact that they automatically want to schedule children apart from the parents made sense with what came next.
I get told by a dentist that “saw” my son he needs $3,300 worth of dental work done including silver crowns. My son again is 5 and has not had any issues his teeth his entire life.
Getting my own teeth cleaned and it took longer for the assistant to take the X-rays than it did for her to “clean” my teeth. Leaving I feel like I did a better job brushing this morning than having a trained professional “clean”.
The dentist who saw me seems to be very professional and helpful. Too bad the dentist who saw my son wasn’t that way.
Go to leave and see my statement stating that my son and I both had fluoride treatments done that were not done. Upon looking further they said my son got two dosages of fluoride. At $64 a pop might as well bill as much as they can.
I worked for a dental office for 2 years and I know what fluoride is and how it feels. They did nothing of the sort.
Also, per the statement they took a panoramic X-ray of my 5 year old. It is not recommended until 7-9 or when 6 year molars are in which he does not have.
Then they have the X-rays needed to dx such extensive work as they are saying he needs done in his FUTURE Treatment plan. . . How would I know what they did and didn’t do though because they separated us…
Long story short save yourself the insurance benefits, time and money and just go to the office you will need for the second opinion at the start.

If you need new orthodontist or dentist I 110% recommend West Richland Family Dental. They were AMAZING. I had an infected broken tooth that i needed to get removed but they didn't take my insurance. That didn't matter. They put me on a payment plan and had my tooth out within the hour. I can't believe how amazing and professional they were. 100% recommend and 100% will use them for the rest of my life as my dentist. Thank you for helping me 🖤

Dr. Thornock and Wendy were great for my emergency dental appointment. I get severe anxiety going to the dentist but they do everything they can to make you comfortable, and I never feel judged for the state of my teeth either.
