First time seeing Dr. Blankenship and she was absolutely amazing with our 6 year old. Never seen a dentist take that much time to build trust and rapport with the children as she did. Not a single tear was shed for a tooth extraction.

Very personable staff, it was a joy interacting with everyone in the office. Dr. Makhdoom is great, she makes sure you are comfortable and not feeling any pain during the procedure. Kristen was phenomenal, she puts her patients comfort first and is great to have an engaging conversation, covering many genres, with.

Had a good experience getting my teeth cleaned. Kristen was the bomb diggity. Super friendly and did an excellent job. Felt like she took good care cleaning and everyone was being safe wearing masks. I've been going there for years, happy with my care.

Missed a couple of appointments over a year ago (one that they scheduled without my knowledge) and they won't put me on the schedule. Blankenship is awesome, but their policy is ridiculous. Why would you set your business up for failure?

Such a wonderful place! The staff is amazing! They work with you, talk to you, answer all of your questions. They always seem to have all the time they need for me! They ensure I understand everything that we are planning to do, and work with me on my dental plan and my budget. They help me focus on what needs to be done and what can wait, and help me find a way to get there. I have been to many of dental offices. I can say, I have never felt so good about my dental hygiene! They have amazing equipment and staff that are experienced! Quality and Fast Friendly Service are rarely seen together, and I believe this business exemplifies that.

I have a lot of anxiety with dental work. Dr. Blankenship is AMAZING. The staff is very accommodating and professional. I had an extraction two hours ago. They were fast and comforting. I’m a newer patient and I will never go anywhere else. I would give ten stars if I could.

I liked best about this dental office that it was possibly the cleanest I had ever been in, and its close proximity to downtown Fairmont. The dental hygienists were all very kind but Dr. Shepherd was not very warm. He practically gave me a choice between having the radio off or listening to worship music on Sirius XM during the visit. I am a fan of Christian rock and Gospel in many forms, but he proceeded to play the blandest, most wailing station imaginable, and each song was somehow worse than the last. It was definitely a two star feeling as I was drilled on in that chair. When we were finished, I felt like I had been overcharged after the visit, but the desk clerk said that all the billing was correct. Many, many months (almost a full year later) I got a call from their Accounting department, so they could send me a check for a refund service charge in excess of $300. I was thrilled, but when they wanted to book another appointment with me, I had to tell the girl about the bummer experience that I had. The clerk suggested I try the Morgantown office where that might not happen. But at that mileage, I already know several providers in the Morgantown area who had built more rapport with me than the provider I had. I would absolutely recommend this place for my grandmother or something, but not anyone my own age.

I called In couple weeks ago to schedule my appointment, because they had been calling me to schedule. I had missed a couple appointments previously because I was 9 months pregnant then my baby was sick. Well when I called the receptionist asked me if I was going to be able to make it to this appointment because I miss my other ones and I told her that I would and I had some circumstances that have been previously that’s why I couldn’t make it. The receptionist then told me multiple times if you are not going to show up don’t bother making another appointment. So I told her that the office keeps calling me so if they don’t want me to make an appt then why do they keep calling . She continued being very rude to me so I just told her I will never come back and then hung up. It really sucks because I love this dentist and I would love to go back but I’m not going back and dealing with the attitude. I just wanted to get a filling

I had some work done at Sorriso. I was told on the day of my procedure I'd need to pay $7xx and that would be all I would need to pay. I have insurance and the amount that they charged was way more then what the insurance prices the services at, so my insurance send it back saying we'll pay 'xx' not 'XX'. Well I got a bill in the mail on 6/10 with a 6/23 due date of $277. On 6/17 I received a delinquent notice and that in 14 days my account will be sent to collections ( notice sent before the due date of 6/23) I talked to my insurance company and Sorriso CAN WRITE OFF anything that wasn't covered because their prices were way too high . I was NEVER told in the office this was a quote, I was told it was a total and what I would owe. I had budgeted ahead of time for the $700+ that I had to pay out of pocket plus what insurance covered and would have tried to have the extra if I had been given a heads up that it could be more. However it was sprung on me last minute. Full disclosure I called the billing department and explained my situation , she basically said there is nothing we can do to help you you just need to pay it all. I told her I didn't have it and I didn't think the whole situation was right. We got into an argument on the phone. I said I don't think I'll have it by then and she can send it to collections if she must. Apparently she found it prudent to send me a delinquent notice/ 14 days before sent to collections notice on 6/16(received 6/17) before the due date of 6/23. If I go buy a car at a given price at a dealership I'm not then sent a bill in the mail a month later wanting more money because they made a mistake on the paperwork.

I highly recommend! All 3 of my kids (ages 4-11) absolutely love going to the dentist and I owe that to the amazing staff at Sorriso Dental. They are just so friendly and personable. They really make you feel comfortable. My children have had everything from cleanings to extractions done here and they’ve never experienced any pain, fear, or hesitation.
