Ostrand Family Dentistry

Dr. Ostrand is a gem! She genuinely cares for her patients and spends time with each of them to develop a personal relationship so she can accurately develop a treatment plan that works for them. She values patients over production and in dentistry field, that's rare! Everyone in the office is super sweet and knowledgeable!

I think I've been to so many stereotypical "old man" dentists that I was pleasantly surprised with a female dentist's office. Dr. Gina was more thorough when fixing my permanent retainer than any other dentist I've been to. I love the the massaging chairs and the fact that appointments are longer than other dentist offices offer and you're not rushed through a half hour cleaning because the next patient is waiting. I also appreciate the family-friendly atmosphere and was able to have my son start his dentist experiences, although brief, at age 2 while on my husband's lap. I recommend Dr. Gina to other parents that want to meet their family's dental needs all in one place!

I know we all have our favorite dentists for various reasons, and the ones here in Sussex are also good. But, I want to personally give a shout out to Ostrand Family Dentistry in Pewaukee. Dr. Gina Ostrand continues to work through the pandemic with top notch cleanliness as she always has and then some. I have been with her since she opened her own practice (she used to practice in Sussex) over 10 years ago and she is smart, professional, thorough, compassionate and gentle. My kids love her too. If you are in need of a dentist or considering a change, i highly recommend her.

Dr. Ostrand and her staff were absolutely great. Dr. Ostrand provided great alternative suggestions for me as I prefer to use natural or clean products. I have a lot of sensitivity in my mouth and Mary (wonderful dental hygienist) was very careful and thoughtful in how she proceeded with the teeth cleaning. Everyone was friendly and kind!

No one loves going to the dentist, but I really appreciate Dr. Ostrand and her staff. Renee is wonderful as soon as you walk in the door or call on the phone, all the assistant staff are great too. Dr. Ostrand does a great job of making you feel comfortable and allows you to ask any questions. Plus she's always got a story to tell and is able to keep it going all on her own since you usually have at least one pair of hands in your mouth! Course this says nothing about the massage chairs and the starry ceilings. :)

I switched my entire family over to Dr. Gina about 2 years ago mainly because of changes in insurance and network benefits. I did shop around and was referred to her office and I was impressed when i visited. I am still impressed when I go for services and my wife and children all really like everyone at Dr. Gina's office. From the friendly staff, pleasant and clean environment to the state of the art equipment, every time we go it is top notch! I especially love the massaging chairs, I fall asleep almost every time! Dr. Gina is Awesome! I would highly recommend her....

I like the dentist but the person at the front desk is not a nice person. I noted a harshness on the phone while scheduling an appointment with the receptionist but thought it may have been a bad day for her. Having made the appointment and showing up to have the work done, I was told I didn't have an appointment. I rescheduled for the following day and this appointment was cancelled the day of the appointment. My wife had her cleaning appointment cancelled a week before her appointment. We decided to go to a different dentist and my wife contacted Ostrand to have our records sent to a new dentist. The receptionist told my wife they had not received the records from her previous dentist even though at a previous time the receptionist said she had received them. My wife called her previous dentist again and found out they had sent all records to Ostrand some time ago. The Ostrand receptionist lied or was too lazy to look them up or to send them. I think Gina Ostrand is a good dentist but the person at the front desk is killing her business.

I have been going to Ostrand Family Dental for over 4 years now. They have helped me get caught up with my oral maintenance after a couple years of neglect. The friendly atmosphere help me overcome my anxieties and make me feel at ease when having my regular scheduled upkeep. Such a great place and Dr. Gina can keep up with a jokester like me!

I used to fear going to the dentist.....several years ago, I found Dr. Ostrand's office by happenstance while looking for a new dentist after my current dentist retired (his replacement was terrible!). Dr. Gina is wonderful....she is open and approachable, gentle, and very skilled. The office is comfortable and there's always music to listen to. I never would have guessed I'd be giggling and enjoying conversation (well, as much as a person can talk while having work done) during a root canal!!! I highly recommend this office.

I have been searching for years to find a dentist I like and I finally found one at Ostrand. I always have a good experience at Ostrand. The receptionists and hygienists are awesome and so is Gina. They have modern equipment to work with and a nice decor.
