I was terrified with painful and downright degrading dentist experiences in the past.
I got an appointment within a week. They were friendly, timely, made sure I wasn't in pain, and charged me less than the initial treatment plan. I love the friendly bickering and Dr. McClanahan's sense of humor.
I knew I was in the right place when the first thing he said to his assistant was "We'll do that one later, let's make sure she's not in pain anymore first."
I am beyond satisfied and can only recommend.

Dr McClanahan was my dentist many many years ago while I was in college at UNA. He did a bridge for me due to a missing permanent tooth, which was hereditary. I had that bridge for 15 years and only recently had it replaced due to it cracking.
Since I’ve moved, a different dentist redid my bridge. I’ve had nothing but issues out of my new bridge (which was done by a dentist in Madison). I actually go in a couple of weeks to have it redone, AGAIN (which is not fun). It’s made me so thankful and appreciative for Dr McClanahan, who gave me a wonderful bridge for 15 years-I never experienced pain! Wish I lived closer and could still be a patient here. I never experienced anxiety when visiting the densit until I had to leave this practice.

Dr. Mac is an excellent dentist. He has been my dentist for 34 years. He is great with local anesthesia. I never dread going. Growing up I thought the dentist was supposed to hurt. Not anymore. He does many different types of procedures- root canals ( mine were a breeze), veneers, bonding, crowns, etc. He has a wonderful staff and my hygienist, Susan Pride, is great. I recommend him highly!
