Dr Trey is the absolute best! The staff at Midtown Family Dental are amazing too! I was looking for a new dentist when mine retired, and tried a few in town. I had one tell me I needed 4 root canals and 7 fillings, when I didn't even have a tooth ache! I saw Dr Trey and he assured me I didn't need any of that work. He kept my best interest at hand.

Fantastic! I’ve always been put under to have teeth extracted, and then been given opiates. Always had terrible swelling. Brothers and sisters, my mouth was absolutely fine within 24 hours with only ibuprofen. And it was a big back molar.

Absolutely awesome. Here's why.
1. They care. Someone who cares if you're in pain is rather important in dentistry. If it hurts, they are going to take the time to do it with as little pain as possible. No rushing through things trying to work before the numbness kicks in or giving shots to fast, causing more pain.
2. Experienced. Nothing better than knowing your dentist has done this before. Seen this problem, and knows what to do.
3. Professional. Nice office, plenty of parking, clean and well kept lot. The inside is the same. Spotless operatory. Courteous staff. You couldn't ask for better.

I went in for a tooth ache and they got me in fairly quickly. He told me I had a tooth abcess and I need to get it out. He asked me about trying to get it out that day and I agreed bc I just wanted it out bc it was alot of pain and it was starting to swell my face. So he began to try to numb me and after about 5 tries he begins to start to try to pull it. I kept feeling the pain so he tried numbing again and still could feel it. So I finally told him that I would just wait to get it pulled after I take a round of antibiotics. anyways I went home and started antibiotics and taking ibuprofen and Tylenol and the pain got worse and worse and so did the swelling. I was up all night bc I couldn't sleep bc the pain was so bad. The next morning the swelling is so bad its in my eye. The pain and discomfort had me in tears. I called the dentist back and asked if they could give me something for pain. I didn't even ask for anything for pain the day I was in there. He tells me that he can only suggest I come in and suck just fight through the pain and have him pull it. I asked him if it was dangerous to pull an abscess and he said no we just won't be able to numb it at all. So if u don't want to be on pain, u will just have to come do that. I was very disappointed. I was not happy with how he treated me and how he just suggested I do something that could possibly cause more damage. I have had multiple dentist tell me they would not touch it while it was swollen like this. I am in enough pain and if u are not going to offer me any comfort in pain then I don't need you to do my dental work. If you can just tell me to toughen up and let u pull a tooth that has me in all this pain and pull it with nothing to numb it or anything. You are not an educated dentist. I will not be bacl
