The only reason this isn't one star is because of the dentist himself. If he wasn't a great dentist I would have attempted to do 0 Stars because of how bad the other people that work there are.
Dr. Buckley is a kind man, very thorough.
However.. The receptionist is beyond unprofessional.
I'd been going to the SF office for years. I had an issue over a weekend which resulted in an unexpected ER visit.
Went to the office a couple days later.. The assistant took THREE sets of x-rays & I had a basic exam. The bill was ridiculous. When I couldn't pay all of it up front I was basically set to the side, even though what needed to be done was also an emergency, instead of doing the procedure, billing my insurance THEN having me pay the rest.
My mother had appointments on two occasions where, at the last minute, the receptionist asked her to change the appointments because she was the only patient after 1pm (app at 3pm) so they could "close early". She said she needed to stick with what she scheduled & the receptionist was rude about it. That happened twice.
Yes the dentist is great but his staff needs some major lessons in patient satisfaction and common courtesy.
I said I wouldn't go back & haven't in almost 2 years.

Outstanding staff and dentist. I called with an emergency after being given the runaround by 3 other dentist offices. They got me in in a hurry and took very good care of me. I will not be using any other dentist ever again. I highly recommend this office.
