Double check with another dentist before getting recommended treatments. I was told by Sumiton Family Dentistry that my son had six cavities that needed to be filled. (He is 19 and has never had a cavity in his life.) I took him for a second opinion that I paid out of pocket for, and he had no cavities. Our new dentist reconfirmed that he is cavity-free at his most recent cleaning appointment.

best experience I've had at a dentist in a long time. knowledgeable staff, fantastic assistants, and a skilled doctor made all the difference in the world...had 2 problem teeth extracted in a matter of hours. I won't hesitate to go back, and for me that really is saying something.

Alabama Family Dentists are wonderful. I’ve always hated to go to the dentist but they take all the stress and anxiety away. Dr. Thomson and all the staff members are friendly and very caring. I would recommend them to everyone.

I not the kind that gets on a site to complain bout anyone.. but couldn’t just let this one go … I’ve used this place for serval yrs & loved the experience & these ppl got a lot of money from my services …i called to get appointment for my son for an emergency they set appointment..long story short he got to his appointment 5 minutes yes 5 minutes & they refused the see him …very rude bout it …needless to say they don’t have my business anymore & I’m sure they really don’t care…I asked what if he would have been an emergency walk in & she only could say he made an appointment 🤦🏻♀️… needs to fill out paper work which I could have done…no sense what so ever …they’re not greedy but for sure NOT compassionate

Was charged for my kids free cleanings after they took xrays my insurance didn't approve of. Xrays only once a year. They knew this but did it anyway and said they'd put a note in their chart and it wont happen again. They did it again. Just trying to get more money. Won't be back.

Everyone at Summiton Family Dentistry where all k8nd and helpful ,, and caused as little pain as well,, I couldn't have afforded to get all I had done for same price anywhere else. I know of,, I am so thankful and grateful to their staff . And their insurance plan saved me money I recommend it espcially to anyone with kids ,keep your mouth health young ppl,, and you won't b n shape I'm n ,,but I'm crawling out of my painful problems thanks to all of Summiton Family Dentistry ,, 😊😁
