Visiting from CA Linda answered the phone and was the absolute sweetest, scheduled me in same day. Michelle helped me get checked in, also super sweet. Amy got me all prepped and was so nice to talk to, another sweet team member! Then Dr. Morrell fixed me up and was so sweet and helpful! If I lived here, they would hands down be my go to dentist office! Thank you Denali Dental care you all are the best! Hello from CA!

Denali was able to fit me into their busy schedule on a short notice! The front desk staff were an absolute joy to work with =) super polite and welcoming. Dr Morrell was amazing! I usually have anxiety getting dental work, but he and the dental assistants made getting a root canal a breeze. I will be returning there for all my dental needs =)
THANKS AGAIN TEAM DENALI!

Dr Morrell was very professional and personable, putting me at ease throughout my entire procedure. The office staff was also very friendly and professional. The only area of opportunity was communication regarding getting my pre-op medication prescription filled earlier as well as giving me my pre op and post op instructions sooner than the evening before my procedure. Overall though I thought they did a great job and I’d recommend them to anyone.

Denali Dental has been taking care of me for for close to 20 years. Lyn has a wonderful chair side manner. Its like having mom take care of me. They put a lot of effort into accommodating my hectic work schedule, and helping me navigate my insurance issues. Dr Morrell is very easy going, comfortable to work with. The entire staff puts focused effort on making sure that every visit is smooth sailing.
Thanks to all of you at Denali Dental.

After having Christmas photos taken I knew I needed to write this review. I went to Denali Dental upon a friend’s recommendation. I made an appointment to replace a front filling that had fallen out. I was in no pain and I told them it wasn’t an emergency. I called on a Thursday or Friday and was seen the following week. The dentist reminded me I had a cavity in the tooth next to the tooth I came in for and I agreed to have it filled. The assistant gave me the amount of the bill to sign off on and it was $750. I was surprised at the high number but decided to continue. The actual dental work took an above time. When I was finished I saw in the mirror one of my teeth was reshaped. It was wider and seemed to be shorter than its previously matching tooth next to it. I assumed there was no way to fix this and I went to the front desk to pay the bill, which was now $940. When I asked why it was so much more than the estimation she could not give me an explanation and was short and rude. I asked if they offer a discount for paying cash. Most specialists and small offices do and I’ve seen it be 20-25%. She said reluctantly they offer a 5% discount but when I pulled out my bank card she said that wasn’t considered cash and I couldn’t have the discount. I agreed but was confused since I’ve had the experience that using debit was considered the same as cash. Also, why would I be carrying close to $1,000 in cash?
At this point I had been asked no less than four times by different staff if I had dental insurance. I had explained I was back in Alaska to see family, traveling, and I didn’t have dental insurance and would be paying cash. Quick note here- I grew up in Alaska and one thing I’ve always found Alaskan dentists to have in common is this constant asking about insurance, to a point I would describe as harassment. I’ve lived outside now, and never found this to be the case in other states. At Denali Dental I felt it was part disorganization and unprofessionalism.
That night I saw in the mirror my tooth was distinctly darker than the other. The tooth was also rough as if it hadn’t been filed and I couldn’t get dental floss between it and the other tooth. Understandably upset, I called and we made another appointment. I saw a different dentist who said the filling was the wrong color and he could see through the tooth. He added filling on top of this and filed the tooth.
I asked again about the bill and the front desk person said the extra was because it was an emergency. I explained it was not an emergency and had expressed this. Then she said she wasn’t sure why I was charge the extra amount and would have the office manager call me. Two days later the office manager called and left a message after 7 pm. I didn’t return the phone call, honestly because after returning home and looking at my tooth the next day it was still noticeably darker and was such a different shape I felt I couldn’t talk to the office manager without becoming overly upset especially if she was calling to give me another phantom reason for the overage in the bill.
I’ve have had extensive dental work and this was the worst experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve had some. Seeing my Christmas family photos and the dark spot on my tooth made me feel awful and knowing I was purposely overcharged and given the “run around” made it worse.

I’ve been a long time patient, over 20 years with the same dental insurance. When I went to check out after my routine 6-month appointment I learned they were no longer in network for my insurance. I understand the change, but it would have been nice to know in advance, or when at my last appointment that this was happening BEFORE check out. I will be looking for a new dental office now. 😕

Great and friendly staff. They are fair with pricing and easy to work with billing your insurance. Brook is amazing, I've been coming to her for 2 years now and wouldn't dream of using anyone else for my dental needs.
