Sad, sad, sad!! Thought I finally found a dependable dentist in Anchorage, NOT!! Everything was going really well until, one of the women that work for Dr. Spalding decided to turn things around in a conversation and make me look like the bad person. So, of course, when you have an office of women, you know already how that can turn out in the end. Well, I am no longer a patient at Dr. Spaldings office due to the thanks of the women office staff. Sad, when a patient that was referred to them for care can turn things around and the patient is no longer to continue care with them. What a way to treat someone. My husband even called Dr. Spalding regarding this issue and couldn’t even explain things, other than of course, sticking up for his staff. Dr. Spalding even had someone else call me to tell me I was no longer a patient there. We had a huge treatment plan scheduled of things I needed to have done and two of them were needed immediately. I was told I had until Oct. 31st if an emergency arose and could be seen. But, when my husband called to get something done that was an emergency, they told him that wasn’t classified as an emergency. So, I have been in pain for a week now and looking for a new dentist because Dr. Spalding wouldn’t take care of the dental emergency he said that would be taken care of until Oct. 31st. What a way to treat a new patient. Have only been going there for a few months and now, looking for a new dentist. So, thanks to the women in the staff, I am no longer a patient at Spalding Dental. What a way to treat a new patient and a senior citizen of Anchorage. Beware and be careful if you go to this dentist. The women either like you or you are on your way out the door.

My husband and daughter have been patients of Dr. Spalding for years. I am currently in the waiting room for my second visit. Echoing my family's and my first appointment the office is comfortable, accommodating, staffed with the neatest people.
Earlier I was in need of rescheduling due to another child's needs. I was offered a same say appointment later in the afternoon for my convenience. There were above and beyond consideration for this scheduling I am truly grateful for.

I normally have my dental done at ANMC. But after my root canals failed, that I had to get due to the ANMC OR dentist damaging my two front lower teeth on a routine wisdom teeth extraction, ANMC had me fitted for a flipper after removing the two lower front teeth. The flipper didn’t fit and the teeth were bright white, so they remade it. The second flipper didn’t fit and the teeth were a light brown. At this point, I decided to go elsewhere. I chose Dr. Spalding and couldn’t be happier with my decision. He did a Maryland bridge to fill the void, as my space wouldn’t allow for implants. The bridge feels just like my own teeth and I can’t really tell the difference. The care I received was above and beyond my expectations. I just can’t say enough good things about my care and service with Dr Spalding and his assistant Christi. Thank you so much for taking care of me and my dental procedure.

These guys are just awesome! People definitely want this dentist if you can get a spot. They are super helpful even when the solution might not financially benefit them.
