Okay so im rewriting my review. I wouldnt suggest this dentist if youre on medicaid or have high anxiety. I go to a new dentist now and from the xrays and information they saw it looked like he was planning to do more work on me than I knew of. I dont know the exact numbers and can update next time I go to my new dentist but they said there was far more reported to be extracted than the 4 wisdom teeth I have. I'm 21 and yes going to a family pediatric dentist might be weird for someone my age but I felt like I was treated like a child or that I had a mental illness for a majority of the time I was there. I went there for wisdom teeth extraction but didn't get passed the numbing due to an anxiety attack. When I talked to both a surgeon in Anchorage and my new dentist office they said for my case that my wisdom teeth didnt need removal because they replaced my prior removed molars. (That surgery happened when I was 14). They said removing them would cause more harm than good for my jaw which I was never told at Peninsula Family Dental. Their consensus was that I was possibly going to be used to make more money to take advantage of my insurance paying for it. If youre going there for children with no major issues or for a cleaning then youll be fine. But dont go there for surgical work. Apparently that is very common around here for dentists who get paid by sugery instead of hourly. And apparently this dentist has a track record amongst the dentists around Kenai and Soldotna. I would not recommend.

Phenomenal service. Dr. Mirci did an outstanding job on my teeth. Great dental practice, very friendly and would highly recommend. Definitely goes the extra mile for his clients. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I had a problem I had been dealing with for a couple years. Embarrassed to even smile.Dentist after Dentist all put it off. Go figure during the one and only World pandemic, it chose to abscess. I called Dr. Mirci’s office at Peninsula Dental . They immediately seen me.
Ericka and Samantha were unbelievable, taking care of all my insurance, questions, even a print out so I knew exactly what my cost would be. Their knowledge and obvious love of their job was refreshing to witness. Dr. Mirci didn’t have to fix my embarrassing tooth, just the one that was abscess. But he did. He spent 3.5 hours working on my teeth, his compassions for his clients.. well I can tell you I cried every time I looked in the mirror today. Cried for joy! I’m ever so grateful to have found a Family dentist that Loves their jobs, and Loves their Patients.

I recently had a toothache that had kept me up most of the night. Knowing where this was going to end up I called the next morning. They got me in right away and fixed my problem. Very professional folks here. Not only that but the dentist texted me that night to check on me. Gave me his cell and told me to call him with any problems. Going into the weekend this was huge.

One, if not the best dentist office I have ever been to in Alaska, I have lived here for 51 years! From the accessible building and entry, hallways, bathroom and chairs. The staff is wonderful starting with the receptionist, to medical assistants, detal hygentists and of course Dr. Merci! They play music while everyone is getting there procedures done it can range from soft pop of the 60's to 90's, country, or jazz. You can request something special and they will try to accommodate! I would recommend for anyone looking for a dentist, for their kids, themselves of if you have recently suffered from a stroke, or other medical condition, they will take it into account and help you having a beautiful mouth or teeth!!
