To give you a bit of history my son who is on the spectrum started out young having dental surgeries in another state. The doctor did great work but the experiences were painful and traumatic. It left him phobic of the dentist. When we moved to Alaska we tried one of the larger pediatric dental practices. It was so bad they had my son screaming and hiding under a chair. It only compounded my son's fears of the dentist. We didn't know where else to try until we joined a special needs Facebook group. Everyone had said Molar Bear was this amazing place that had experience with kids on the spectrum. Today we went for our first appointment and they FAR exceeded my expectations. The staff was amazing. You could tell they had experience with neurodivergent kiddos. If you are a parent of a child with special needs you will know what I'm talking about. There was a therapy dog, it was quiet, they engaged my son in the process, reassured him, absolutely no pressure on him. The doctor had a very calm and gentle demeanor. I would recommend them hands down to anyone with children. I wish they saw adults because for me as a middle aged person this was the best dental experience I've ever had.

The people who work there were extremely nice to us and very gentle with the children. They make dental work for kids into an experience that kids won’t dread. They were fast and kind. Everything seemed to be set up to lower anxiety for the kids, and we were very pleased with their work. I would highly recommend them.

This office is amazing. The staff were very generous with their time and compassion. My child is autistic with limited verbal ability and they made both of us feel comfortable, and yes safety protocols were followed by staff at all times. I recommend this office as well as Dr. Rosenvall to everyone. I look forward to bringing my other children, and creating a great relationship for years to come!

I cannot say enough great things about our recent experiences with Dr.Chris and his friendly staff at Molar Bear Pediatric Dentistry. My oldest had some not very positive experiences at other pediatric dentists in the valley, but now looks forward to going to see the dentist.
Dr.Chris and his staff have created a warm and welcoming environment for kiddos who are anxious about going to the dentist. They helped my son stay calm and comfortable. They were positive and informative and not pushy about treatment. They even have cartoons and cute little prizes! We will definitely use Molar Bear for all of our children's dentistry needs. If you are looking for a new dentist for your littles, give them a call! You won't regret it!

We took all of our children to Molar Bear today. We’ve been long term patients with another practice, but we were looking for quality, personal care without the rush of a quick turnover and we’ve found it! Molar Bears assistance were incredibly kid friendly, they knew exactly how to keep them engaged and relaxed. The office was extremely clean and organized with excellent attention to sanitation. The doctor was kind, clear in communication and explained all of the steps along the way to the kids. I’m extremely pleased.
