I had put off going to the dentist for a long time because of past experiences in other dental clinics! This one is in a league of its own. Clean and inviting office, new equipment, staff that enjoy where they work, and a kind and caring doctor. They are great with kids and cash prices are reasonable. Dental assistants/hygienists are gentle and made me feel relaxed through the whole process. I could go on all day. Highly recommend Sun Mountal Dental Care!

My teeth are not something I’m proud of. I have never been able to go back to the starting line of good dental hygiene, despite following the recommendations provided to me. Today I took a chance with yet another new dentist, (insurance issues, not because I love shopping for teeth enthusiasts) and came to Sun Mountain Dental Care. The lobby was bright, and clean, with a homely Alaskan vibe. The receptionists both greeted me and smiled and offered warm welcomes. Then the hygienist was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable and offered empathy to my situation. Then I meet the Tooth hero himself, my new dentist. He didn’t just greet me with a smile, he introduced himself, shook my hand, then asked about me, where I grew up, and finally, what were my concerns. This was the first dental appointment where I received stressful news, yet left with a smile from ear to ear. These wonderful people were created in the Disney Castle is how I can best describe my experience, in the sense that they were all …..perfect. It felt like I was with family, this is how it should feel. If you are seeing a dentist who doesn’t make you feel this way, please trust me and try out Sun Mountain Dental Care, you will not be disappointed in anyway.

The staff at SMD were incredibly kind and helpful. They welcome you in with a smile and make sure you are comfortable. Stephanie, the dental hygienist was amazing. I have struggled with depression and insecurity due to my teeth to the point of expressing that insecurity emotionally. Both Stephanie and Dr. Christenson were extremely caring and reassured me that they would take good care of me which they did. Although my encounter with Dr. Christenson was brief, he is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. I strongly recommend SMD for anyone who wants a comfortable experience at their dental office.

I went into the office today, no appointment. I had broken my crown off during the night. They got me right in, fixed my tooth, did the crown and I left SUPER happy. I wasn't even their patient! The price was right and the service and staff were amazing! LOVE THEM! Now they will forever be my dental go too!

Everyone was insanely nice and helpful- From helping get an appointment set up to checking in at every step of the procedures.
They understood my pain and came up with the best AND fastest solution to help me.
They are amazing and remember your name and treat you like family.

Gorgeous Alaska theme office. Staff is so nice and my fist fist was wonderful. Cleaning & X-rays. Not one bit of pain 😊 and I’m a wimp. Dentist was so friendly and they all made me feel like I found the perfect Dental office. Thank you all so much. Nancy Fowler

I had chipped my front tooth on the way to work and called Sun Mountain Dental Care, they were able to get me in same day and fix my tooth! Todd placed an amazing filling that exceeded my expectations and completely changed my smile, thank you so much!!
Both of my kiddos (5yrs and 2.5yrs) had cleaning appointments with Stephanie and she was so patient, friendly, and easy going with the kids; it made it a completely stress free visit! We are excited to have such a wonderful dental team care for all of our families dental needs.

I had my first visit today and absolutely loved the staff!!! The ladies at the front were great and very friendly! The Dental assistant was the best!!! She was so gentle and such a sweetheart!!! And Dr. Christensen was amazing! Very knowledgeable staff and Doctor!!!

From the moment I called to make an appointment, Chris was warm and welcoming. When I finally made it to the appointment two weeks later everyone in the office was equally as kind. I was nervous anyway because of the condition of my teeth and the pain that my dentures are causing. I was quickly relieved
By Chris and Todd of any serious concern. They adjusted my dentures as much as possible and now they actually stay in place! What also surprised and delighted when they were discussing treatment options Which by the way they did with my financial concerns taken into consideration, they did it with my involvement; whereas some doctors and dentists discuss their patients between themselves and give them a treatment plan. So the three of us discussed two options that were available to us and I am currently working on getting it done. I couldn’t have been happier.
