It is now 2018. I have continued to see Dr. Cassel, and Stephanie (hygienist) every year. I am still as happy with them as I was in the review I posted below in 2015. Their professionalism and obvious desire for me to be as comfortable as possible has been very consistant.
2015
I switched to Wasilla Dental after 30 years with another dentist who retired. I had major work done by Dr. Cassel last summer, and was very pleased with the work, their efforts to make me as comfortable as possible, and the cost. I recently had a cleaning by Stephanie, and that also was done gently and efficiently, at a reasonable cost. I had many worries switching from my old dentist, but have been completely satisfied by Wasilla Dental. Because of painful and scary experiences with dentists when I was young, I really was anxious about going to a new dentist (my 30 year dentist in Anchorage had been gentle and considerate). But I am very happy with Wasilla Dental and will continue to see them in the future.

The WDC is a quality operation! Staff esp Stephanie were very accommodative and helpful. The dr explained in an understandable manner all the nuances of my disturbing dental history and its implications for the present. This was my maiden trip into the WDC and i'll be back again in 6-mos, if not sooner. Thank you,,,

My four kids (age 9, 8, 3 and 2) look forward to going to the dentist! Stephanie makes getting their teeth cleaned fun, and Dr Castle is so gentle and explains everything really well. We are life-long patients at Wasilla Dental Center.

Very cheery and friendly office. Char did the wonderful gentle cleaning and Dr. Cassell was quick and efficient with a diagnosis. I didnt' get 5 stars on my teeth, but hopefully after the next appointment I will be closer!

I want to give a huge shout out to Dr Coffman and his staff. I broke a tooth on our drive to Wasilla from the lower 48 and they graciously worked me in to have it fixed as soon as we pulled into town. Can’t thank them enough for their incredible customer service and Dr Coffman’s work on my tooth was practically painless. Definitely my new dentist! Thanks again for helping me out!!!

This place has been great to me till the day a bill got sent to collections, for 56.00 dollars . My mistake was thinking they billed my insurance . i understand a few hundred dollars but 56.00 gets me dismissed from the practice, i have been going there for years and spend A LOT of money there even recommend people to them . They are great dentist there that is for sure ! I think they could have been a little less aggressive with the punishment . Once i found out about the bill going to collections i paid the same day , they said call back and will see what we can do once you pay it off. yea , called back asked for a release form for my records so i can spend the day finding a new dentist . I just think it was a little ridiculous , i know i was to blame for not paying attention to my bill .

My experience with Wasilla Dental Center has always been exceptional. Whether I saw Dr. Cassell, Dr. Coffman, Stephanie, or Char, they have all been wonderful. They are experts in their field, and I highly recommend them. I have been a patient there for over 10 years, and wouldn't go anywhere else as long as Wasilla Dental Center is around. I'm one of the cowards that Wasilla Dental Center caters to and I wouldn't ever consider going anywhere else. I used to have to use the gas when having my teeth cleaned, but Stephanie is so incredibly gentle that I don't need it anymore and don't mind getting my teeth cleaned at all. Also Dr. Cassell is the best and has the lightest touch of any dentist I've ever seen. I highly recommend them!
