I had a great experience as a new patient. Everyone was friendly and professional. The doctor did my cleaning since I'm a new patient so that she could get to know me more which was quite a gesture. The front desk receptionist was efficient and fun to talk to. When they were running a few minutes late, they communicated well, and others jumped in to help. I have sensory sensitivities and they were very accommodating with me to make me comfortable. I highly recommend this dentist office.

Super nice staff, thorough work, and easy to work with! I've seen both Dentists there, and they're both really lovely. The hygienist is also very kind and I can tell she remembers me every time I'm there. I've been happy with them, and just had my third cleaning/exam done yesterday.

I am so happy I found Dr. C. And from a mailer!!! This dentist is so much quicker, more educated, better & has state of the art technology. It is a completely different experience from my last nightmare at another dentist. Honestly. First crown I sat for 2 hours drilling. He was done in 30 minutes. Zero pain. The moment I walked through the door I could tell I was in the right place. (I’ve had 38 years in dentistry myself and retired 3 years ago). Cedar AveFamily Dentistry showed empathy, professionalism and concern about what I wanted from them!!! My concerns were their PRIMARY focus and they spent extra time getting to know me! I don't have insurance and I haven't seen a dentist in a while, regardless of that I never felt judged and everyone was incredibly kind. The dentist and assistant helped me determine what was best for my needs by giving plenty of options and patiently answering my questions while explaining my dental situation in a way I could understand. The ladies at the front desk were also so helpful and kind in giving me options on how to go forward financially. I never thought I would be so happy to go to a dentist and even look forward to returning.

Needed a next day tooth evaluation and they had a spot open. After filling out some paperwork, I was x-rayed with an evaluation in less than 30 minutes. Good chance the tooth can be saved otherwise Indian Contract health would have extracted the tooth which might have complications. Repairs next week.
Follow up for 6 month teeth cleaning. All gum around teeth inspected swollen areas and suspect tooth cracking. One cracked tooth found for buildup and crown. Ordered up a mouthguard.
Had a dental checkup with 4 x-ray films to look for decay, gums thoroughly inspected, followed up with flouride polishing. X-rays and teeth were inspected again. Pitting on cannines and worn incisors will be monitored for further erosion. Setup another 6 month appointment. Thorough exam and cleaning.

Everyone at Cedar Avenue Family Dentistry is phenomenal. Debra's very professional and courteous at the front desk. Maddie is a fantastic assistant. She took me right back and made sure to explain everything to me. Dr. Chittenden took the time to answer all my questions and is a very careful dentist. My visit was quick and pain free! Had a crown placed and I was out the door in 15 minutes. Highly recommend this practice.
