First visit at Flagstaff Smiles, my first impression, friendly staff, the back office were very informative had a game plan of care and explained the plan in detail, they were very professional and I felt that I was in good hands with my dental needs.

Always great service, I would recommend this dentist to anyone in need of family individual or or just plain wonderful service.

My daughter had a cleaning/X-ray appt and there was a bit of confusion on charges. The office was very professional and worked to resolve it very quickly.

UPDATE: Dr. Stark, after learning of the events that took place below, personally called my daughter to express his sincere concern. He gathered more information about the visit and was apologetic on behalf of his office. I have increased their star rating for the above and beyond attempts to reconcile the matter. Thank you, Dr. Stark.

Event: In April of 2022, my college aged daughter visited this office for the first time for a bi-annual cleaning. She asked only for services fully covered in her plan. Several cleaning, extensive examinations, and x-ray services were perform with out checking with insurance first for coverage benefits. We were surprised with a large bill not covered by insurance. When I called the office, the attendant stated they should have checked for covered services prior to performing them. We still have to pay for the services even though they were not due according to the insurance.
To make matters worse, this was the most painful cleaning of my daughters dental history. The dental attendant that performed the cleaning ignored my daughters tears and wincing face. My daughter literally held the attendants arm to stop her at several points. The attendant showed no bedside manner, no sympathy, no care, no apology and she drew blood.

I had an excellent experience at Dr. Stark's office. My teeth have never been cleaned so thoroughly! Each member of the staff was friendly, professional, and personable. Dr. Stark took the time to review my x-rays with me and then we talked about all the different options in regards to my dental care. After explaining all the options to me and answering all my questions, he allowed me to make the decision that I felt was best for my person situation. I really appreciated how personable and caring he was, checking with me several times to make sure I was comfortable and without pain. I would recommend him to anyone looking for exceptional dental care and an honest dentist. Thanks Dr. Stark!

Going to Dr. Stark was a great experience. I was greeted by an incredible staff, and Dr. Stark was very friendly and personable. He was able to explain everything that he was checking for. I really felt like he wanted me to understand the health of my teeth. I also had my 2 kids with me. The kids had no problem sitting in the chair while their teeth were cleaned. Dr. Stark worked great with the kids and helped them feel calm during the appointments. So glad our family's dentist trip was positive!!!

The BEST Dentist I have ever been to, and will ever go to again! I have been to several dentists over the course of my adult life in several states and from all of those experiences, I actually now travel to have my work done by Dr. Stark, because simply he and his staff are the best. The environment is warm and welcoming and the entire staff put the patient and their needs (and fears) first. Their bedside manner is top notch and they are focused on the patient as a whole and not what the problem is that needs to be fixed. I've never had the opportunity to connect with the staff and create a relationship in any office like I have here. As a result, my entire family are loyal patients and refuse to go anywhere else. The staff are very friendly, professional, and communicate every step of the procedure so any fears of "the dentist chair" are diffused right away. The comfort of the patient is their focus. Dr. Stark does excellent work and takes his time so that it's done right the first time. He is very calm, communicative, and he is hilarious! He and his staff are just as amazing with my children as well. I recommend Dr. Stark to everyone because I know they will have just as wonderful experience as I have every time I have to go to the dentist. If you are looking for the best dentist and the best staff that does the best work with the best bedside manner... look no further. You've found it.
