Winterholler Dental Implants & Cosmetic Dentistry - Payson

Didn’t want to leave my long time dentist in the Valley. This dental group changed my mind! I absolutely love Jessica, and the caring staff. Both dentists are wonderful.

Every visit my husband and I have had in the past 11 years as patients has been with handled with the utmost care and dedication. I recommend Payson Dental Care and give both Dr. Winterholler's and their employees a 10 for exceptional service above and beyond.

I have had a bunch of dental work done by Dr. Chris and am currently in process of another. He is very professional, skilled and on the leading edge of new dental methods. I have never been disappointed. His staff is exceptional - friendly, caring and very skilled at what they do. If an emergency arises they will work you in to their schedule even if it means they stay longer than their usual patient hours. The office has the latest equipment which probably accounts for a little higher price schedule than other dentists, but the expedited treatment is worth it.

Not only have I had the pleasure of being a patient of Dr Chris and Dr Patrice Winterholler for the past 15 years, but I also had an amazing experience working with them for 5 years! As a patient they treated me with the best care and compassion.
I have gone through orthodontics with Dr Patrice, and everything from fillings to extractions to root canals with Dr Chris. All experiences have turned out wonderfully.
They always made it a fun experience. Dr Chris can make me laugh no matter the situation and Dr Patrice is very detailed and you receive nothing but perfection from her.
As an employee I got to see all the "behind the seances" action! It was amazing to see two people who genuinely care about helping others! They taught me a skill that will always be with me and will continue to benefit me in the future. The Winterhollers are kind, professional, knowledgeable, fun, forgiving, and so much more! I am blessed to know them not only as dental professionals but also as real people.

After 10 years of not seeing a dentist due to fear and bad experiences, I went to Dr. Chris at Payson Dental. The entire staff was absolutely wonderful, caring and friendly. We went through a complete exam and then he set down with me on what options I had to correct my issues. My choice was to go with complete upper and lower implants. An appointment was set up to remove all my current bad teeth and replace them. I was put to sleep with my old teeth and woke up with a mouth full of beautiful teeth that I have never had. They give you the option of color and if you have any teeth that may have been a little crooked you can choose that also. I chose to have my new teeth set to mimick more of my original teeth but a little whiter and straighter. They look so natural I wish I had done this years ago instead of not smiling for years and years. Thank you, thank you, thank you Chris and staff. You all rock and are the best. I would definitely recommend them for ALL dental work.

I am blessed to be a very healthy person though my Achilles heel has always been my dentistry. I was petrified to go to the dentist throughout my childhood and adulthood and had been spoken to very poorly by many a dentist who lacked compassion for me and my challenging dentistry. Getting me to the dentist was literally like pulling teeth...My PTSD was long and deep and a great challenge of mine. In Feb 2018, My lower AO4 broke, and I went to a local dentist where I live in Sedona, AZ. That dentist said it would cost around $4,000-$5000 to repair. I walked out and continued my Google search; I was in a desperate situation. I discovered Dr. Chris Winterholler in Payson and emailed his office my dilemma; Jennifer said, can you come this afternoon? I jumped in my jeep and got there as fast as I could. My finances were sideways at this time, and I let them/him know this. I drove to Payson, a 2-hour drive, and had an extensive appointment with Dr. Chris that ran around 2 hours. He repaired my lower AO4 with no charge and said, come back when you're ready to get your dentistry in order and presented me with a full plan of action. I needed A LOT of work. It took me 2 years to get my finances back on track.
It's Dec 17, 2020. I'm just leaving quite a profound 3-hour appointment in Payson. I have such appointments nearly every 2 weeks since June.

What’s one of your biggest triggers? What has you leave your beautiful “Presence” and can own you? Mine is/was dentistry.

I would tolerate Such pain and hide so as not to have to face this terrific horror I had experienced in the past, until now. I walked through the fire. I am grateful.
