My spouse did massive research trying to find the right dentist for us.
Well, it paid off. We are both happy with our dentist.
I also came in for a cleaning, my dentist is Dr. Brett Magnum. A very kind, gentle and thorough dentist.
Not long later, I decided to do an in office teeth bleaching. I was extremely apprehensive and nervous about doing this, but not enough to stop me. I have had my teeth bleached at other dental offices and it was extremely painful and uncomfortable to say the least. It's the "zingers" that get you (sharp, painful zings). If you have had your teeth bleached in office or 2 days in a row-at home, then you know what I'm talking about.
Jane is the Bleach expert at Magnum dental. She first quickly polished my teeth (something I know I didn't experience at other offices). Then she affixed a guard around my gums and exposed roots so the bleach wouldn't set in.
It takes two rounds, 20 minutes each. Bring earphones or this is a great time to start meditation.
After 20 minutes, she re-applies more bleach.
Jane sent me home with a special tooth paste that contains fluoride. The fluoride helps reduce the zingers.
Dr. Magnum suggested I purchase the at home bleaching kit as this gives your teeth an extra pop, and it does.
What I found incredible about this experience was the personal phone call from Jane to see if I was o.k. the next day.

My dentist for this visit was Dr. Mangum. Service and staff were great, didn't even hurt, and the big hole caused by the broken filling is gone. Lety did an excellent job getting me ready for the Dr. to take a look at me. I was 100% satisfied.

Behind every great dentist is a great staff. His staff is one of the best I have ever seen in 35 years of doing dentistry. If I ever decided to come out of retirement.....I would want to work at Mangum Dental!
