Amazing dentist office! My husband and I went about a month ago for some cleanings and the staff was very helpful in getting us scheduled and even called us with schedule cancellations to try and help us get in sooner! The hygienist, Kathy, was super nice and did a great job. Dr Carter was the BEST dentist we’ve ever been to. My husband is not so great with needles and Dr. Carter did a great job with his fillings and made the whole process very painless. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dentist in the area!

The staff and doctor are very kind. I called probably 8 dentists around the Verde trying to get in with a cracked tooth. They squeezed me into their schedule within the hour and helped me the best they could. Very kind and showing concern for the well being of their patients. The staff is very personable and goes above and beyond to help. Thank you!

I tried to make an appointment for my son this morning under his AHCSS insurance. The perky receptionist said they weren't taking his insurance anymore. I thought, Ok, got it. Then she said, BUT if you are paying CASH we can get you in.
This is the epitome of what is wrong with our society. Here is a Dentist making roughly what, $300k a year, milking the poorest population who earn less than $12k a year.
I doubt he has any AHCSS patients, probably uses it as a ruse to pull in cash patients who have no other choice.
Shame on Montezuma Family Dental.

I had some issues In June due to a schedule conflict which resulted in cancelling every appointment by voicemail. The receptionist actually said I never left any messages to cancel. Doctor Carter is amazing.. I wish I could continue to see him for dental, unfortunately the receptionist did not believe me when I told her that medical transportation has no drivers. She informed me I'll never be scheduled again. Do not go here. They are distrusting and will lie to your insurance if you submit a grievance.

The people here are so super nice and they worked on my as well as my kids teeth, however, one of my son's fillings (he's 2) fell out.. the dentist did fix it free of charge which was great. Then one of my fillings fell out in 2 pieces while flossing, I called to get an appointment and they couldn't work me in until a month later. I've had 2 of my fillings fall out and one more hurts when I floss. I've never heard of fillings coming out? I spent a couple thousand dollars here to get my teeth done and it didn't even last a year. Super disappointed.

Dr. Kyle Carter, Ashley & Nikki are all so amazing! We travel full time and stayed in the Cottonwood area for the winter and were due for checkups/cleanings for our family. We found Montezuma Family Dental online and made an appointment based on the reviews. My oldest son has had a lot of issues with cavities and had to have some more fillings while there. He said of the 3 dentists we have been to, they were the best! My youngest is 2 and this was her first dentist visit. Nikki made her feel so comfortable. And I can’t say enough good things about Ashley. She was amazing from our first phone call to making additional appointments and helping me with our dental savings plan that I had never used. We highly recommend Montezuma Family Dental and definitely plan to return when we are back in the area!

Dr. Carter is the first dentist my parents have seen in their whole life and it was an amazing experience for them. Not only was he understanding but his personality shows he really cares about his patients. He answered all their questions and helped restore both my mom & dad's smile. Honestly, if I could give more stars, I would! Keep being amazing doctor, couldn't have achieved it without you!!!
