I had the awesome opportunity back in 2019 to work for Dr. Sandhar while I was waiting to get my Hygiene license. It was honestly, so worth it. I've been a dental assistant before but when I came out of school, I had to re-learn it all. I learned so much from this office. The office location is conveniently located off the freeway and in a nice area.
If you're fearful of the dentist, DON'T be! You have Melissa, the front office manger who has been with the location for several years and knows just about everyone/everything! I love the team, front and back office. The hygienist's are courteous and knowledgeable. And Dr. Sandhar strives for perfection. Ever feel rushed out of the office chair and don't seem to have quite an EXPERIENCE? Dr. Sandhar gives that to her patients. She gives patient's a thorough consultation and caters to the best of people's needs. I've seen her work and makes me wish I had become a dentist. Dr. Sandhar and her team are far and away the best dental group I have ever had (and I'm an old guy with several different dentists in the past). I have a sensitive mouth and am therefore somewhat of a challenge as a patient--the folks at Alta Vista Dental are patient, caring and talented and I feel fortunate to have found such a great organization. My dental hygienist, Heather, is a part of this team and she's amazing--thorough, skilled, a light touch and a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend this office enough.

Some changes can be challenging. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Donovan since 1987 so after he retired I was a little wary of having a new dentist. So far so good. Dr. Sandhar is nice and friendly. While Pete, my former dental hygienist, has been wonderful, Julie, my new hygienist, is great! My teeth look and feel fantastic!! I feel pretty good knowing that I’m in good hands with Julie.
