Dr. Tim Rolfes and his incredible staff at Smiles4OC are all amazing human beings!! Yes, they’re running a business, but it’s more like coming home for me when going to the dentist. Side Note: I’ve had a lot of dental work done over the years, and my fair share of unfavorable dentists/specialists. But, not here! From the beginning, Dr. Tim has known about my past experiences and has gone above and beyond in treating me with the utmost respect, sensitivity, and precision. Talk about paying attention to detail! When in the chair, he always walks and talks me through what he’s going to do before he does it. Being someone who struggles with anxiety this has been extremely helpful for me. And, furthermore, knowing of my struggles (especially when in the chair being treated) he’s ALWAYS made sure that I’ve felt 100% comfortable and safe before he proceeds with his work. I trust Dr. Tim with my life! Also, he’s fair…beyond fair!! He’s always looking out for my best interest, health wise not money wise. Plus, Dr. Tim is a cool dude and we talk about surfing and his wife and kid. I could go on and on about how great this establishment and it’s people are. The city of Costa Mesa and it’s community are extremely fortunate to have their teeth in such good hands! Thank you Dr. Tim and to all the great staff: Paige, Shawna, Christina, Andrea, Nathan, etc. etc. for making my dental experiences actually enjoyable…I never thought I’d say that, lol!

Dr Tim Rolfes created a crown for my tooth with their new in-house equipment and installed the crown all in the same appointment. So much time is saved for a patient-client with the advanced in-office equipment!
Dr. Tim diligently adjusted the crown so that it fit perfectly without soreness then or days later. This crown has been perfect! His assistant, Susie, knowledge and years of experience was very important to why the entire process went smoothly even with a hiccup. She knew what the Dr. needed and the communication between them was perfect.
I highly recommend this office of professional dentistry!

Been seeing Dr. Tim for two years now and he his father and staff are by far the best dental team I have been too since I came to California 14 years ago. He explains everything that is about to happen and works more efficiently than any of the other dentists I have been too and keeps me calm and happy. I always hated coming to the dentist but now when I show up to the dentist I am happy to be there because I know the experience won’t be traumatic and I will be well taken care of.

I had a very complex implant surgery that I was not looking forward to. Dr. Rolfes answered all my questions and gave me IV sedation which made the experience painless and very comfortable. After I healed a little Dr Tim Rolfes made me a perfectly fitting temporary bridge. My implant is scheduled to be placed in one month and I’m confident I will have the same excellent experience. The office staff is extremely professional and the atmosphere in the office made me feel very well taken care of. I would recommend this team to anyone who wants the best dental care.

I had to have a very old crown replaced. Dr. Tim Rolfes explained every step of the way! It put me so at ease that the procedure was smooth. He used The latest state of the art dental technology that made it that much better. I would recommend him to everyone.

The dentist can be scary at times, but the staff and doctors here thoroughly explain each of the procedures to make it a comfortable experience. Susie and Vicky are so kind and made me feel so at-home. I appreciate each person taking the time to explain all of the treatment I received, and I will definitely be coming back for any dental needs in the future!

Dr. Thomas Rolfes is the best dentist I have ever used. He is very considerate and attentive. He has state of the art equipment and an extremely professional staff. I required emergency treatment, and Dr. Rolfes and his team mobilized to get me treated immediately. His work is impeccable and I hope he never retires!!!
