As a returning patient after being away for a number of years, my visit with your office was like being reunited with family.

Throughout my lifetime, for some reason, I've had mostly bad experiences with dentists. Even my last dentist, whom I really liked, couldn't manage my crowns well. I moved to Humboldt with a terrible toothache that I had to find ways to manage myself (bc of the pandemic) until I could no longer stand it. Trouble is, I grind my teeth and have done since childhood (accident gave me spinal issues). The crown on my molar kept breaking/cracking and even after the 3rd new crown my previous dentist inserted, I'd have jaw/tooth/headache issues. This happened over a period of 5 years.

I didn't expect much difference from Dr. Vert but I was surprisingly, happily proved wrong. His manner is wonderful and put me at ease even with my ingrained mistrust of dentists. He listened to my fears about the pain of Novocain shots and I experienced very little pain bc he went slowly. He replaced my crown and a year later, not only is the crown still there (I haven't broken or cracked it), but not a single jaw pain or headache from his procedure the entire year later.

Almost as much as I love Humboldt, I love Dr. Vert. The forest wins out, but c'mon man, it's Humboldt...

One last thing: I wish he'd also do root canals. I don't like traveling all the way to Santa Rosa for root canal (though the dentist Dr. Vert recommended was pretty good too).

I was nervous about going to the dentist because it had been a long time and my last dental experience wasn't good. Here everyone made me feel super comfortable. They explained everything that they were doing and what needed to be done. They were clear about prices and procedures, and they even contacted my insurance provider with no hassle. Wonderful experience, I'm actually looking forward to my next cleaning!

I have been going to this office for a couple years now and every experience has been positive. I never dreamed that going to the dentist could feel so relaxing! I literally look forward to it now as part of my self care. They always tell me what they are going to do before they do it and are very gentle and nice. Last time I was there, they shared some fresh veggies that a local farmer had shared with them! Such gems!

Every experience I have had with Dr. Vert over the years has been great. I appreciate his kindness and caring nature and always feel like he is recommending the best care. I have referred a several people to his practice in the intervening years and each one has also been very happy.

I haven’t been to the dentist in almost twenty years. I know I need some serious work. I’ve known Dr. Vert for some time and he’s always encouraged me to come in and fix my teeth. Well, I finally did and not only is his office immaculate, his staff is knowledgeable and super friendly. Dr. Vert has a very gentle and positive demeanor. His bedside manner is fun and easy to understand. I’m very grateful that he’s accepted me as a patient. Awesome experience. I’d never in my life thought I’d say but, I can’t wait to go back to the dentist!

Went for a new patient appointment and a cleaning last week. I had a great experience with all the staff the doctor was very thorough and took his time with me. The hygienist was great as well very knowledgeable and also very thorough.

Amber was very professional, informative, and pleasant. I plan on adding other practices to my dental hygiene regimen. Dr. Vert was great as usual and l was extremely glad he didn't find any cavities.
