Fort Bragg Center For Laser & Cosmetic Dentistry

This practice is by far one of the best I have been to. Granted I havent been in a while, this was still a very good experience. I am new to the area and while a lot of dentists might not be seeing new patients or are “under staffed” as they say, Dr Limbird and my dentist Dr Winstrom were some of the greatest doctor’s I have had the pleasure of meeting. I had called around to different offices to try getting an appointment and they called back first, as well as tried to squeeze me in immediately but my schedule wouldn’t allow it. Very good communication and response to messages/calls. Dr Winstrom made sure to go over everything they planned to do on the initial appointment and helped ease my nerves. From what I thought was going to be a rough process ended up being able to save a tooth and made it close to painless. Dr Winstrom came into this profession from another trade and he seemed to be very knowledgeable and had a passion for the practice. He explained in detail every little thing that needed to, and he took great care of me as well as being very helpful with my significant other. I highly recommend Fort Bragg center for Laser & cosmetic dentistry, they went the extra mile and made me feel welcome and safe in what can be a very frightening process.

Bad experience. I waited weeks to get an exam and cleaning. Xray tech was inexperienced and had to retake X-rays multiple times until I had to ask her to stop after about 20 images. Dr. Limbird came in and said he wasn't going to bother giving me an exam and would do it when I returned in 6 months even though I was already lying there in the chair with my mouth open. Dental hygienist was friendly and did a decent job but she was rushing and took off my apron only to realize she needed to measure my gums and said that was her least favorite thing to do and that she wanted to go to lunch but put my apron back on to do the task. When I left nobody was at the front desk to take my money so I waited for my bill in the mail and unfortunately Delta did not cover the entire visit, if they had explained the price of the full set of X-rays I would not have opted to have those done. I will not be returning. I am wondering about all of the good reviews on here because most of them are very old reviews.

Dr. Limbird & his staff provide great care in a clean, friendly, professional environment. They all seem to cater to dental cowards like me.

Tiffany has worked on my teeth twice now, & is always very engaging & (more importantly) competent & detail oriented.

Carmen runs the front desk in a friendly, helpful, & very efficient manner.

I haven’t needed the laser filling treatment, but a friend of mine has, & marveled at how fast & painless the procedure was.

I can’t imagine there’s a better dental care team in Mendocino County. 😁

Dr. Limbird and his staff have renewed my faith in good dentists. I've had many unpleasant, stressful experiences throughout my life and appreciate the way his staff makes you feel comfortable. I couldn't be more pleased with the work he's done and have been recommending him to many of my friends. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Dr. Limbird and his team are exceptional at what they do. They’re quick, always keep me aware of what they’re doing or going to do, and they’ve got a very comfortable, light-hearted, humorous office demeanor. They do absolutely everything they can to make sure I’m comfortable and in and out as quick as possible. I’m a horrible dentist patient, but this team is the best possible experience I could possibly imagine.

I came to see Dr. Limbird to get my 1st cavities fixed and I have to say It was awesome! Well cavities are not awesome but he used a Laser to fix my cavities. LASER MACHINE was awesome, I didn’t even feel any discomfort and it was very quiet. I’m feeling brand NEW and sure glad that he didn’t use a drill.

My family has been coming here since I was a child. They recently added a new dentist which they scheduled to do some work on us. As it turns out, this new dentist does not accept the insurance our family has been covered by in the past. That's fine, however, we had to find out with a bill in the mail.

After all these years making visits to this location, they did not bother to inform us that our insurance was no longer accepted before they went to work on us. For many that's what determines whether or not they can even go to the dentist. A pretty shady act by those we trusted, so I'm not sure how to feel about this business anymore.

This is a long review because this office is so wonderful, I don't want to leave anything out.

Dr Limbird & the entire staff at Fort Bragg Center for Laser & Cosmetic Dentistry are so kind and helpful. I have always had weak teeth & was embarrassed of the condition that they were in. In the past, I have encountered dentists who talked down to me or did work that was painful. I'm not nervous by nature, but because of this it's developed into a fear and I put off going to any dentist for far too long.
I found Dr. Limbird when a tooth became infected and needed emergency care.
Everyone treated me so well, that I was immediately put at ease. After the tooth was removed (very easily) I healed quickly. I'd like to note that every visit to this office has been pain free.
I went back in for a full assessment & cleaning. When the hygienist, Tiffany asked why I waited so long I was actually in tears explaining my embarrassment. She was kind enough to take the time to tell me that there are many patients like me & not to ever feel embarrassed about something like that.
I have spent my entire life smiling with my mouth closed. My teeth were discolored, crooked, weak, breaking and extremely sensitive. They have even stopped me from going to social gatherings.
I thought that the only way to be pain free was to get dentures & had actually started watching YouTube videos of people in their 30s with dentures to prepare myself.
Dr. Limbird changed all of that. He worked out a plan for me to not only save my teeth with crowns, but make them more even & a beautiful shade of white. I'm only halfway through our plan, but already feel more confident and pain free. For the first time in my life I have to remind myself to show my teeth when I smile & I'm not worried that people are judging my teeth when I'm talking. I took before pictures and when we're all done I will be vulnerable & share them along with the after.
I recommend this office to everyone I know & plan on switching my entire family over to them. I can't thank them enough.
If you are in pain or feel embarrassed, don't wait like I did. Go in & see them.
