We just had a similar experience, the lady who claims the title of office manager or some other higher management that works with the kids is very unprofessional. To the level that I wouldn't trust her handling kids let alone in a setting where she would work with adults. Her attitude, language and tone is horrible from a adult standpoint an for kids would be absolutely terrifying. The moment I heard the way she was talking to a young boy having work done when he would claim he was hurting or would cry by saying "Your fine, it doesn't hurt" or "your just being dramatic" or "you need to stop moving right now, your making my job dangerous" I knew there was gonna be a issue the moment she tried a aggressive tone and language with my children (3 and 12 years old) and sure enough there was. The lady refused to give her name but claimed she was the superior at the office and completely defended her attitude an lack of customer service skills in a loud aggressive tone in the waiting area while other patients were sitting waiting. I wouldn't recommend for anyone to go to this dentist as long as she and the dentist (not Dr. Patel) is employed. They are the finest example as to why children would be afraid of dentist offices plus some.

I loved that I didn't have to schedule a second appointment for cleaning. My kids got x-rays, clean and a sealant all in one day!!! Only observation, they took a while to assist us... but they were busy!!

0 stars if I could. Horrible place! Horrible experience! DO NOT recommend. 100% completely unprofessional. Unbelievably rude dentist and staff towards me and my children. If you want your babies to have a good experience at a dentist office and not be absolutely traumatized. Seriously DO NOT go here for the sake of your children.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I've been to this clinic on three previous occasions and never experienced this bad of service. The dental assistant did NOT polish my teeth the correct way. The polish instrument broke and so she just slathered the cleaning paste on my teeth and followed with flouride. I left with my mouth full of white pasty stuff on my lips and and wasn't given any after care instructions. I wasn't sure if I should rinse my mouth out or let the stuff sit in my mouth; it was to the point, I was afraid to swallow or spit the stuff out.
Will NEVER return again.. The entire staff were different from my previous visits.

Stay away from the one on Pearson called Sweet Smiles here in Porterville. Billing Department/Staff is horrible you will have problems. Had a on going problem with this place and a run around that was finally solved by my insurance getting involved.

My kids have been visiting this dentist for about 2 years now. The only down fall-they do not give out goodie bags for the kids with new toothbrush, toothpaste and floss. I had to ask for toothbrushes. Staff and Dr friendly.
