Just had a visit today and Dr. Sutherland fixed a filling for me. I was in and out just under an hour. Thank you, Dr. Sutherland for taking care of my teeth...Update: Had a visit today with Sara. She's always so sweet and gentle. I was a little apprehensive about today's visit, but they were very up to date on the COVID situation.
UPDATE: As always, everyone was very pleasant. I got to meet the new dentist, and he was very nice, too.
Update: Had a visit with Sara and Dr. Lewis. As always, super nice.
UPDATE: Dr. Sutherland is no longer at this practice. Dr. Lewis has taken the practice. I still had great service with Sara.

My substitute hygienist was very personable and did a good job and Dr. Lewis was friendly and checked my x-rays and said I was doing OK. They didn’t pester me about doing things differently or try to sell me on any unnecessary procedures.

I have been a longtime patient of Dr. John Sutherland from whom I have received outstanding care from both he and his staff. Recently, I began to experience intermittent, right jaw pain which quickly exacerbated to such an intense degree that I literally called his office in tears. Although he was not in the office that day, the receptionist, Tara compassionately advocated for me with his already fully scheduled associate, Dr. Mark Lewis. Despite my being "worked in" to his fully booked schedule, Dr. Lewis patiently, and compassionately evaluated and diagnosed the source of my excoriating pain (TMJ) and made effective recommendations for the immediate management and longterm remediation of the pain. I am so grateful to Dr. Lewis for his knowledgeable and compassionate care. I highly recommend Dr. Lewis and Dr. Sutherland and the staff and Sutherland DDS.

My almost 18 year old daughter has major fear & anxiety related to dentists. Dr Sutherland & his staff always make her feel as relaxed as possible & help her with her fears. She needed a cavity filled today & was close to tears. When it was over she walked into the waiting room all smiles & told me over and over again on our drive home how nice Dr Sutherland was.

I recently discovered that dentists now want to take your blood pressure before doing any kind of work on you. If you have high blood pressure they won’t work on you. I also recently discovered that when attractive women take your blood pressure it will appear high even though mine is normally low. Solution: have the male doctor take your blood pressure.

Everyone is so kind and knowledgeable. I retired five years ago and haven’t had dental insurance. You can get insured but the dentists are not in this town and you can only use a dentist they recommend. When I called in for an emergency, right away Dr. Sutherland and his assistant recognized me. My visit was during the COVID crises and they were extremely careful. It was a good experience and I highly recommend Dr Sutherland and his staff for your next visit!
