Dr. Walters and his staff are amazing. I swithched dentists for some serious problems...root cavities requiring crowns. I expected a painful, unpleasant experience, but was pleasantly surprised: no pain, superior knowledge and technique, state-of-the-art equipment, and very skilled staff. Even my temporary crowns match my teeth perfectly, and the expertly applied local anesthesia allowed me to attend a class immediately following the procedure without making a fool of myself. Treat yourself- your teeth deserve it!

Best dentist experience I've ever had! The office is relaxed, and caters to your every need. Cannot rave enough about this practice! I am referring everyone I know. Love that they are eco conscious as well!

TLDR; This office is amazing, the staff is amazing, the facility is super clean and welcoming, and I’ve never felt like they were just trying to get people in & out - they take their time, do a great job and make sure that you’re happy with your services. If you haven't found a dentist that you actually enjoy (or one in general), you won't regret visiting this one!

Islay Hill was recommended to me by a co-worker and this is honestly the only dentist that I’ve ever enjoyed going to.

As soon as you walk in, you feel like family and the office is BEAUTIFUL (and eco-friendly!). It’s honestly more akin to a spa and it helps ease the anxiety that is often associated with visiting the dentist.

I was pretty nervous to visit given the work I needed done and the terrible experiences I had previously but as soon as I sat down, it was obvious that each one of the staff cared just as much about my health as I do. Each person took the time to introduce themselves, asked me about myself (as a human, not just a client) and got an understanding of the goals you wanted to meet with regard to your dental health.

Dr. Walters offered up a schedule of what the top priorities/necessities would be, what each item involved and the associated costs ahead of time. He was thorough in explaining the capabilities of his office and eased my mind by showing me examples of his previous work (it’s amazing!) and didn’t make me feel like I had limited options in what I could do. In addition, he recommended other specialists when he felt as if he needed further advice on a particular issue - this may not seem like a big deal but if you want to avoid getting the same procedure done multiple times bc someone does something they’re unfamiliar/inexperienced with in the first place, it’s a huge plus.

All of the stand is super friendly and welcoming, they take the time to explain things to you (even the numbers they’re calling’ out when you’re getting an exam), the technology they use makes the turn around time for bigger procedures SUPER fast and WAY more comfortable (hooray for 3D scanners!), their focus is on providing solutions that will last instead of short-term fixes that will likely need revisiting in a short amount of time, and you can choose your own music or shows to watch while you’re visiting.

And just in case you’re worried about how this works with COVID, they’re SUPER precautious - they have you call in when you arrive to ensure that you aren’t exposing yourself to other clients, sanitizer & temperature checks are used when you enter the building, they aren’t reusing tools (even the pens, which I now have a stack of!), and they wipe down the doors with disinfectant each time a patient leaves/arrives.

I was a new patient (who admittedly didn't bother responding when my previous dentist was having his practice bought out) who needed help asap with a cracked tooth and was not able to sleep because of pain. They took me seriously, quickly addressed my main issue (I'm sure I have cavities too, but pain was the most important that day) and got me referrals same day to specialists and the next day had my tooth extracted and an implant after finding that the tooth was not salvageable.

It was very much an experience where my issue and my urgency were both fairly considered and multiple option were offered with the reasons as to why. I previously had dentists that would just tell me what needs to happen, without discussion, but this place is great!

Lindsay is so kind knowledgeable and thorough as a hygienist. I’m so glad that I made the switch to this office when the office I had been going to for 45 years dropped Delta. Not only is every experience at Dr. Eric Walters office top quality, they are a preferred Delta dentistry office.

Best general dental experience I’ve had so far. The office is a pleasure to walk into, staff are friendly and super helpful! Dr Walters is phenomenal! Highly recommend them!

Great dentist and all the staff is so friendly and nice. New, very clean office. I just started my invisalign with them and I'm so happy.

It’s probably ridiculous to think that going to the dentist will be a nice experience, but I did experience that today. I went in to have 3 old amalgamate fillings replaced. From the beginning to end everyone was professional, courteous, and thoughtful to my comfort. I highly recommend Islay Dentistry!!

Absolutely beautiful office, everything was clean and state of the art. Actually enjoyed having my teeth cleaned! From the front office to the back it is a wonderful experience. Can’t recommend Dr. Walters and his staff enough.
