Blue Ridge Family Dental

My first experience here was terrible. I got Rosie as a dental hygienist and she made my gums bleed a lot.. after I told her I was in pain she continued to be rough with my teeth. She also said a false claim that I had a cavity and the dentist at the time agreed that had one. I decided not to return there. Once I got a new provider they confirmed I had no cavity and they too have heard bad stories from this dental office. I wish these things were not true.

This was my first time to this dental office. I found that front desk personnel was nice and appreciated my jokes (lame as my children may think they are) The specialist who took pictures of my teeth was a bit rough, but then again, the process itself can be a bit rough, so I chalked it up to that. At first, I thought that she was a bit impersonal, but after a few moments she kind of warmed up and at least sounded a bit nicer. But it was towards the end of the day, so maybe she was just tired. The Dentist I had cleaning my teeth was very polite and took time to answer questions that I had in general about taking care of teeth. I do wish that the regular dentist who reviewed my ex-rays spent more time with me to explain what was going on in my mouth, what I should expect from some of the decisions I was making for my dental procedures and maybe if I had other options (but then again, maybe I didn't have many options). With the dentist that was reviewing my ex-rays, I almost felt like I was literally being squeezed in between 2 appointments, rather than having an appointment that I had booked in advance. It's been almost 10 years since I've actually seen a dentist, so I had expected to have more issues than the issues that are already known to me, so in my mind I felt there were things being overlooked and not being addressed....but then again, I'm not a dentist, so maybe for the past 10 years, other than the teeth I know I have a problem with, I've been taking care of my teeth perfectly fine. I have many more visits to the dentist and since this is my first time here, I guess I can say that this feedback is still in flux, but so far from my perspective, I would go to this dental office again.

I went into the office today to get a second opinion about dental work that was recommended by another dentist in Fairfield. My regular dentist has now retired so I needed to find a new dentist. I met with Dr, Cabral who over the course of two hours thoroughly explained to me the various options for my treatment plan. I have never had a dentist take that much time to try to help me with my dental care. He is the most compassionate and caring dentist I have ever encountered. I have always had a lot of anxiety and take medication before I am treated by a dentist. However, he made me feel very comfortable, was very patient, and took whatever time was needed to answer my questions. I am glad that I got a second opinion because some work that was recommended by the other dentist was unnecessary, and he also devised a treatment plan to save a tooth rather than extract it. My fears have been alleviated and I have not even had even had the work done yet! I feel like I will be in good hands when I come in for the appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Cabral to anyone who is looking for a very proficient, caring, and compassionate dentist who goes the extra mile to make a patient feel comfortable with their dental experience. He is the epitome of what all dentists should strive for in their patient care.

Dr Cabral and staff are AMAZING!! Their always so caring and their awesome at what they do. I went in having tooth pain (the really awful kind). Dr Cabral fit me into his busy schedule, I’m so grateful for that. I’m now home feeling such a relief from the pain I was in. Best dentist and office hands down! I’ve been there a few times and he’s the most gentle dentist I’ve ever had, definitely patient for life.. Lol. Thank you so Much Dr Cabral and Staff, I appreciate you all!!

Everyone was very friendly and kind. I am from out of state and broke a front tooth while I was here. They fixed me up very quickly and did a great job too. If I lived in the area, they would get all my dental business!

I really didn't understand the difference between having a tooth fixed and loving the way your tooth was fixed until I started going to blue ridge, they value me having a healthy smile and every tooth counts!
I really don't know how to thank them every time I'm there so I just end up with tears rolling down my face with a huge Numbed smile😁🤤 😁

Dr. Cabral was very good with my daughter. My 10 year daughter needed a root canal and not even the specialist wanted to do the procedure because of her age. But Dr. Cabral was excellent and he made my daughter feel very comfortable. We are soo blessed to have found him! And his team were great as well!👍🏾

On Monday Afternoon, I was continuing to have sensitivity on a tooth that recently had a filling for a cavity. I call Blue Ridge Dental, and although they were not seeing patients on Tuesday due to having an all day special equipment training for staff, the clinic staff had me come in for a quick exam. That was real “Customer Service” to me. Thanks again to all the Great Staff at the Blue Ridge Family Dental Clinic for being there when I really needed them for emergency dental care.

I had my first Great Dental care visit at Blue Ridge since COVID-19 Pandemic started, and office and dental staff were not only welcoming as usual, but made me feel that all of treatment areas were safe and clean.

I was referred here to Dr. Hugo. He is amazing. I have really bad anxiety about the dentist. And he and his staff always make me comfortable.

Loved how fast I was able to be seen and how amazing the staff made me feel!
