Wow....I have to share. I'm 60ish and today I had the best of care from Dr. Counihan and his staff. Not only were they quick, gentle and caring but they were very patient with me and esp. with my issues during preparation. They made me feel so comfortable and even offered a pillow. I highly recommend Dr. Counihan and his staff for those seeking a dentist.

Dr. Counihan and his excellent staff are the best! The work they do is top notch and they explain everything thoroughly so you can make informed choices. No hard sell to do extra work which I really appreciate. They want to make sure you are happy with their work and encourage you to come back if you need any fine tuning at no extra charge. I highly recommend them.

I can honestly say I have never had that great of an experience at a Dental office before. Not only was Dr. Counihan extremely personable, but he was also very professional. He even took his time to educate me on different options I had when it came to dental hygiene.
I also must add that Chelsea and Kayla were absolutely phenomenal! They were both very thorough, kind and made me feel very comfortable. The entire staff from start to finish was incredible.
I genuinely can say I had fun!!

This was my very first appointment. My appointmet was at ten. the staff starting with the receptionist and ending with the dental tech were professional and immediately put me at ease. From the receptionist to the billing tech everyone answered all my questions and I had no issues whatsoever. dr. Counihan especially instill confidence in me that he knew exactly what he was doing and that I was in good hands. I personally believe it is so important for a dental office to have their patients feel like they're important and address any issues that the patient may have. counihan family dentistry did everything I asked and I will definitely continue to recommend and and make counihan family dentistry my number one dentist.

We are always greeted with smiles and everyone’s always kind. This particular visit made my heart so happy because it was a rough visit for my son who was in a lot of pain and ended up having to get his tooth pulled. I reminded him that Dr. Counihan has many children himself and will always do what’s best for every child that comes into his office. The assistant Amber was also very sweet and caring and help ease my Brandon’s fears. They both took time to explain things to him and keep things upbeat. My Brandon couldn’t believe when the tooth came out and it didn’t hurt one bit! He actually thanked them. I love how they treat our family.
We are very thankful to have him for our dentist.

Once again, this practice is SUPER ! I mean, if you have to see a dentist, it may as well be a fabulous experience, right? The whole staff is tops, and today I had a new hygienist, who is right up there with the rest of them. Kudos to Dr. Counihan and his staff!

My entire family of four started going to Counihan Dental recently. We've had a variety of services from initial appointment, to cleaning, fillings, and crowns. Every experience has been excellent.
The office staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. Dr. Counihan is very friendly and knowledgeable. He is very good and open about explaining your options and what he's about to do. He is gentle, and asks often if you are feeling okay or experiencing any discomfort. It's a small thing, but they offer you a neck pillow that makes the normal uncomfortable dental chair MUCH more enjoyable. Patient comfort is a priority!
I needed a crown for a tooth that split and half, and the office got me an appointment quickly. The practice has all the latest technology to digitize your tooth and then mill a crown and properly place it in less than 2 hours. I was offered water while I waited and was told I could even run an errand if I preferred while the crown was made. In short time I walked out with a permanent crown ready to go!
I used to hate...HATE to go to the dentist, but Dr Counihan's office makes it so much more pleasurable. If you give him a try you will not be disappointed.
