Metropolitan Dental Care

I highly recommend Metro Dental Care. Although I had cavities to fix on both sides of my mouth after about a decade of not going to the dentist, Dr. Roy and his team put me at ease from start to finish during both of my visits. They were nonjudgemental, kind, and extremely communicative about the work being done. I felt listened to, and well taken care of with a lot of concern for my comfort - which is a big deal for someone who has spent a lot of time avoiding dental appointments. To top it off, the small touches around the office, like the chapstick on the way out, really helped to make the visits stellar.

Metropolitan Dental Care is absolutely the best dental office you could find. My dentist Dr Stephen Law has over time replaced a crown, fixed a chipped tooth and
done at least one filling for me. He is a total professional and also a very nice guy. He has a great staff to assist him. My hygienist Willie is likewise top of the game always offering advice on improving my own personal dental care. The office staff from when you arrive to handling insurance and billing are so efficient as well as welcoming. I can’t say enough about how good this dental office is

Extremely pleased with my choice to begin using Metropolitan Dental. Their entire team is friendly and professional, the offices are impeccably clean (And while this doesn't necessarily matter for quality of care, they are also nicely decorated - that is, its a nice waiting room with comfortable chairs and free wifi, which is amazing for mid-day appointments when you've ducked out of work. All of the chairs also have TVs, which is a nice touch.) My appointments have been great, efficient and they clearly have their systems organized and down to a SCIENCE - they will email or text with you for anything from questions to scheduling to patient info and they have never asked me to re-fill out a form that I already filled out online. Would recommend to any family and friends looking for a dentist.

Wow. After 10 years of avoiding the dentist, I made an appointment after reading the outstanding reviews. Shoutouts to Dr. Roy, Dakota, Hailey, and all the front desk office managers. Read if you’re hesitant about the dentist:

I’ve had a traumatic past with dentists, orthodontists, etc. which made me avoid the dentist for a decade. I put it off every year from fear that I was going to experience the pain and discomfort of hygienists stabbing my gums open. After so many years I imagined I would be riddled with cavities, rotting teeth, and would need them all extracted. I chose my new dentist carefully and made sure I would not be taken advantage of, nor would my treatment be aggressive simply because of the amount of time that had passed.

Dr. Roy gave me the surprising news that my teeth were perfectly fine! No cavities, and enamel was great! I did not believe him at first and thought he must have seen the wrong X-rays. He showed me my X-rays and explained what I was seeing and what they all meant. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. The only issues were with my gums which thankfully could be fixed!

Dakota my hygienist did an amazing job at putting me at ease while performing deep cleaning. I felt virtually no pain and she was communicative every step of the way, recommending different cleaning methods, tips tricks, etc. Not once did I feel like I was being upsold anything. She was extremely knowledgeable about anything I asked her and her recommendations were just that, recommendations that I could take at will and not forced (And I will be following her recommendations). She explained the “why” for everything she would say and I knew I had been missing out on lots of oral education. I was under great care.

Once the deep cleaning sessions were completed, I was setup on a regular cadence cycle. My gums have healed perfectly just a week after each session. I no longer have sensitivity to cold, hot drinks or sweets! My gums look great and my teeth are shiny and smooth, sans the black staining that I imagined were cavities. I can’t stop looking at my teeth in the mirror. I have the confidence to smile again and look forward to my next session! What a complete 180.
I recommend them to anyone who hasn’t seen a dentist in a decade!

I have been a patient here for a few years. I do enjoy the friendly staff. I care about my teeth and they know I care by coming for my regular cleanings. I reccomend anyone to this dentist. I have been at Metropolitan Dental Care for several years, and am always impressed with the high levels of care and friendliness there. I would highly recommend to anyone, particularly to someone who has a fear of the dentist, or has had negative past experiences.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Maureen Roach at Metropolitan Dental for many years. She and her team are second to none! They all truly feel like family. They are gentle, professional, compassionate, and involve the patient in all treatment plans. The dentists, hygienists, and assistants do a phenomenal job of educating patients on proper dental care. Lastly, but certainly not least, the front desk staff are terrific!

Very unhappy with visit. My Dentist retired and the hygienist I was normally scheduled with left them. Therefore, they rescheduled me for someone else and then they had to reschedule that appointment. I couldn’t do that appointment, so I let them know and called a few weeks back to schedule this appointment with JoAnn to clean my teeth and no Dentist visit. When I got there, I was seeing someone I have never met named Kim and they scheduled me to have a dentist visit.

I was very upset no one discussed these changes with me, and told Kim that. I also told her I knew it was not her fault, but that I wouldn’t be back.

Kim proceeded to rush through my cleaning in 25 minutes and then I paid my bill for $126. She also was pretty rough with my mouth, and I normally love to have my teeth cleaned.

Even though Kim made a note in the chart for the front desk, and confirmed in front of me that they saw it, nobody from office administration addressed my concerns or apologized to me. I have been a patient there for 30 years.

Very stellar care from start to finish. Nettie, Joann, and Dr Roy were fantastic.
