Durango Dental: Dr. Brad A. Belt, DMD

I have been to Dr. Belt for myself a few times and have always had great service and experience. It was because of this that I brought in my young sons. The older who is only 8 had serious anxiety about the visit and frankly it never went away during his visit this was at not fault of the dentist or the staff he is just an anxious kid. Although he was still squirmy and scared but Dr. belt and his staff took amazing care of him and the service he needed. The next visit he had he was so much more relaxed and was ready to go in. I would recommend Dr. Belt and his staff for kids treatments any day and I will for sure be keeping my boys with them. They always treat us fair and very well, and not to mention their new office is beautiful and very comfortable!

LOVED my experience! My husband, daughter and I all went in for a cleaning and had the best experience. My husband immediately talked about how comfortable he felt in the office with the staff. I had to have additional work done and I can't tell you enough how nice it was to talk to Dr. Belt and feel NO pressure from the doctor to spend the extra money, obviously I got the extra work done, which was another great office visit experience, but I didn't feel any pressure or guilt from Dr. Belt. I recommend this office to anyone wanting to fall in love with your dentist office.

When my 19 yo daughter needed 4 impacted wisdom teeth out, I wanted her to return home to a larger city to have it done. But she wanted to stay in Durango. She had already had Dr. Belt help her with an implant, and she had given him the thumbs up as a dentist, mostly because she said he managed any discomfort well. I have to say that I was concerned with a "small town" dentist doing this procedure, and as a health professional, I thought about complications. However, I want to report that Dr. Belt was very competent on what was not just a simple procedure. Her pain was managed before and after the four teeth were removed in 1 visit, office staff were caring and attentive, and my daughter completed recovery well without complications. He also called her to check on her status. I was impressed and would certainly recommend his services for other dental issues. And I do know he can remove wisdom teeth well.
5 stars for competency, pain relief, and good discharge instructions both written and verbal from the dentist and staff.

Dr. Belt and his staff are very professional and concerned about the needs of their patients. My two children have very special dental needs. My son is missing a molar and will someday need an implant. Doctor Belt listened to my concerns and gave me all of the information I would need to make sure we got the best outcome and are able to plan for his future. Dr. Belt has also been treating my daughter who had several adult teeth come in with soft enamel. His work is excellent and I couldn't be happier with the expert advice and care he has given her. His staff is friendly and easy to work with, always putting the patients at ease and making their comfort a top priority. Melissa

Durango Dental WOWed me and that's hard to do. At first I was a little put off by the cramped x-ray space, but the x-rays were so speedy. No waiting. Everyone was super friendly and cheerful. Diane, the office manager, didn't bother with too much paperwork and even looked up a lot of my paperwork information for me so I didn't have to. The cleaning was harmless because they use supersonic lasers and water to clean them. No scraping, which was fabulous. Kristin was so professional and kind. She talked with me and her soft and gentle voice was soothing and relaxing. It was the most pleasant experience at a dentist I've ever had. I would highly recommend them.

I'm now living in Durango.
My last dental experience was in Colorado Springs which was very unpleasant. This left me very uncomfortable in finding a dentist that would work on my teeth.
After viewing all the dental websites in Durango, I selected Durango Dental it sounded the most appealing to me. My next step was to call the office with questions to help me make the final decision to set up an appointment. The conversation was very positive so I scheduled a visit.
X-rays were taken and Kim cleaned my teeth, very professional.
Dr Belt performed three root canals which two had a low percentage of success. His skillful technique for doing root canals saved both teeth.
I now have two temporary crowns. Both teeth were broken and required build ups for the crowns, quite the challenge.
That evening I viewed my temporary crowns and was amazed at the artistry that had taken place during the procedure.
