I have been a loyal customer to another dental office for 25 years. They attempted to pull my tooth leaving the roots below the gums and nerves exposed until I could get to a surgeon the next morning. I called Great Florida Smiles and they were able to get me right in to finish the job. With all the best top of the line equipment Dr. O’Donnell had the roots out and stitched up in less then 30 minutes. He was very professional and made me feel comfortable in this whole procedure. I will never go anywhere else. Thanks!

Jennifer always does my cleanings and does an exceptional job while making me feel calm and comfortable. Dr. O’Donnell is a very professional dentist; as well as his staff. My only complaint would be his fees. They are extremely high. I am visiting from Canada, and required 2 visits. I can understand the initial appointment being a little expensive. But when I needed a second visit for a dentures adjustment; which took maybe 10 minutes, I was charged what I thought to be an over the top fee. Know require another appointment for a possible extraction, but will seek another dentist. Too bad because he really is good, but I cannot afford him.

Dr Alvarez and Dr O'Donnell and their staff do an outstanding job of providing the latest technology to provide dental care to their patients. While most of us hate going to the dentist, this office actually makes it a very pleasant experience. With offices both in Santa Rosa Beach and in Defuniak Springs, they are easily accessible, and you can get an appointment fairly quickly!

You pay 200 plus dollars to walk in the door that includes a 5 minute exam then they star running up the cost from there. A 300 dollar extraction turned into a 700 dollar invoice after they start adding all there line items. I chose Not to go thru with there service And still had to pay 271 dollars for a five minute exam to extract a tooth which was broken in half and really required no exam to determine if it needed to be extracted. But they need to sell you an X-ray and a supposed exam wether you need it or not. Only go there if the assessment of your needs is free or reasonable not 300 dollars just to walk in the door. As far as the quality of dentistry I would say they seem good at what they do. Just hang on to your wallet because the lady at the front desk will run the numbers up real fast she showed me a 500 hundred dollar invoice I agreed to and then mumbled out that the charge would actually be around 750 dollars. I’m glad I heard it before she had a chance to run my card when asked she said the invoice did not include everything I was being charged for that visit. As a general rule when someone hands you an invoice for your visit it includes the cost of all services rendered for that visit they don’t just forget to mention the extra 270 they forgot to put on the invoice that they will be including when they run your card. My opinion is run don’t walk away from this dentist

I am almost 70 years old, and speaking from experience, I can safely say, that going to the dentist, used to be a horrifying experience. But these guys make it a pleasure. No more professional and courteous service anywhere!! Friendly and helpful in every way. Great staff, and Dentists. They really care, and show it in their service. great staff, very up to date equipment . I travel back and forth to another state where I had a dentist, but now use this office all the time...I am very nervous at dentist, and they work hard to m ake me feel comfortable, very important to me. They are also priced much better than the other office i was using. A great experience every time.

These people seriously gave my appointment away because I didn’t answer the phone the day before my appointment, I had that appointment scheduled three weeks in advance I even opted for text messages to remind me of the appointment she called me a week after I set the appointment up and asked me if I still wanted the appointment work on it in earlier day I told her no I still wanted my regular appointment time. I am a truck driver I spend most of my days in places where I do not get cell phone service so I did not get her voicemail until around 9 PM at night and I knew there was nobody there to answer the phone so I waited until the next day to call them back that’s when I found out they gave my appointment away because I didn’t answer the phone. The lady on the phone seemed really nice but I’ll never do business with this dentist.

Great bed side manner, payment plans on Ortho. Love the location. So... me, myself, and I should have listened to Dr. Mike a year ago. In my defense time has flown by way to fast, and I am a mother of 2 and I do not like spending a lot of money on myself. Today I went in with a toothache and found out that I need a root canal. Dr. Mike took action and started the process. He was amazing and funny, he put me at ease, because lets face it I HATE people messing with my mouth and teeth. He was wonderful. Numbed me right on up and I didn't even feel the stick! You get what you pay for! He is expensive, but he is worth it!
