Homestead Modern Dentistry is a fantastic dental office. The staff are kind, knowledgeable and efficient. Dr. Delgado is lovely and professional, taking the time to answer any questions. My dental hygienist Erick has worked with me to greatly improve my dental health and makes the effort to keep it that way. Maricel and the other assistants are also so kind and keep everything running smoothly, making it a calm and inviting environment. 10/10

12-21-22, Updated. Originally, I had positive feedback to give concerning Homestead Modern Dentistry regarding my experience. During the visit, I realized that I needed to have two teeth pulled (root canal issues). I scheduled to have them removed on December 14, 2022, by an oral surgeon. I thought there was a conflict with the date for the appointment, so I canceled the original appointment. Then I realized that the date was fine. So, I called back to reschedule the appointment on the same date December 14, 2022, but at a later time. The young lady scheduled me for a 2 o’clock appointment to get the teeth removed. Someone call me back within that same week to confirm my appointment date and time. On Monday, December 12, 2022, I received a call from someone from the dentist office stating that they needed to change my appointment time from 2 PM to 11 AM. I had already made arrangements on my job for coverage to go to the appointment. So, I couldn’t just change my schedule at work with a short two day notice. I had to cancel my appointment. The oral surgeon was not willing to see me at 2 PM to remove the teeth. Unfortunately, the young lady in the office scheduled me for that time. I don’t understand why it was not confirmed immediately by the oral surgeon. Also, why was the young lady unaware of the scheduling procedures. I was told that the time I was scheduled to have the teeth removed was too late in the afternoon for that particular procedure. I still have the infection (I don’t have an abscess, the infection is at the root of the teeth) and I’m looking for a new dentistry. I didn’t receive any antibiotics for the infection. She did offer another day to come in to get my teeth removed, but I already had other appointments that I scheduled in advance to go to. For me it was the principle of the thing and how it was handled. This appointment was scheduled two weeks in advance. I don’t understand why they would expect me to just change my appointment time with such short notice. Everyone doesn’t have the ability to just take off when they want to, especially when it’s short notice.

Expensive treatments readily suggested for which they make sure to politely destroy your teeth first. Poor customer handling. Aggressive double and/or advanced billing for UNSCHEDULED/ NEVER dispensed service/care/treatment/procedure.
Horrible. Worthy of a state / federal complaint.

I’m 62 years old and, just a a complete mouth extraction with dentures . I couldn’t have ask for a better dental team. They calmed me and assured me that everything would be alright. They are very clean and up to date with the lasted dental equipment and procedure. I would high recommend them. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
